Hands down the best hot dog in Alabama! I always get the grumpy dog and chef Wil and his team are wonderful people. Been eating here since opening year 12 years ago. There are many great options! I forgot to take a picture until I was almost done… it’s too good to think about a picture!

I was so excited because I was craving a hot dog and am close to Grmpy Dog today. My coworker and I each ordered different hot dogs and they were just…. Awful . I’m beyond disappointed and embarrassed because I was buying lunch for my coworker and it was awful. The cheesy dog had a slice of Kraft American cheese (unmelted), sweet chili and a soggy bun. My poor coworker stated ‘ I’ve had better hot dogs at a Love’s gas station…’. I had the Grumpy Dog with soggy bun but the MOST disappointing part is both hot dogs were BOILED. Guys, They boil their hot dogs . I’ve been to several hot dog joints and have been served a grilled hot dog. I could expect a boiled dog if it was a T-Ball concession stand but this is an entire restaurant dedicated to serving hot dogs. So buyer, beware…. They boil their hot dogs!

Great dogs! Enjoyed frito bandito and grumpy dog. Buy 2 dogs, get free bag of chips. The chili was flavorful. Quick friendly service. Gave us two plates instead of trying to eat from foil wrapper. Fun combinations to try.

Great location in Wetumpka’s historic district! We were right across the road from Fríos, and could see the Elmore County Courthouse and Elmore County Museum from the dining room. The outdoor dining area looks fun, though a bit hot for today.

Great hot dogs. A very eclectic menu of hot dogs. Toppings that seem like they shouldn’t be on hot dogs but surprise you and make amazing dogs. Make sure you have napkins. The toppings are plentiful! You order at the counter, and they serve you there. Seat yourself. A little difficult for a wheelchair.
