I love coming during the week less of a crowd and peaceful. Our server Alison was wonderful, food came out surprisingly quick. Ordered egg rolls as an appetizer but ate them to fast to get a picture. But everything was amazing. Definitely enjoyed the night out thanks to the staff out on the floor and in the kitchen.

We had a later dinner here around 8:30 was very busy but we were seated right away. I had the fish and homemade chips which was excellent, the batter on the fish was late. Fish was tasty and the homemade chips were fun. Other diners. We’re pleased with their meal as well. The waitress was exceptional as far as recommendations, efficientness And had a pleasant personality.

Food wasn’t as good as my other visits. Their mashed potatoes were extremely watered down, even tho I ordered them loaded, like baked potato, fixings were good, potatoes not so good. Fresh crisp, delicious salad. Whiskey Chicken is delicious, it just didn’t have much sauce and only a small portion of the breast. Still enjoyed our meal, just not as much as in the past. I blame that on the distributors who have changed their quality of products. This isn’t the only restaurant that I see declined products, smaller portions. Our server was kind, friendly, and attentive. Then, the server had another larger party. She tried keeping up, and other staff did help out, teamwork…..
The atmosphere has needed refreshing and updated. Their leather seats are torn, which tore my clothes more than one time. I dropped my napkin on the floor under our table…. scary what was under the table in the booth in the bar area. I think I may have found things that I dropped a year ago.

We usually really like coming to this restaurant. We follow their page on Facebook and seen that there was a special for ribs. Placed a to go order. Went to pick up when I got home. The ribs looked Really weird gave them a try they were not good and we both got sick. Would not recommend buying the ribs from here.! if I was at the restaurant, I definitely would have sent them back! Definitely not worth the money! And it seems they had ran out of garlic bread and just put bread with cloves of garlic on it

The food was about as bad as you can get. Honestly… Generic, fry stuff. Plain rolls. This was mass production level meh.
The Mexican spot close by, Riviera or something…. Was a million times better. So that should say it all. A stripmall Mexican joint was orders of magnitude better in food taste, perceived quality, etc. Gruff’s was just bad. Service was good. Atmosphere was…. Meh. It’s cheap… But… Should have been cheaper.
