The Grudgeville burger was fantastic. The toppings were great, the meat was great, the bun was soft and fresh. My friend, who is a local, says everything here is this good. The owner was our server and she was delightful, friendly in a way that makes you think she knows everyone and cares about how people actually are. Now the only problem is the place itself. I’m shocked it passes any kind of code inspection. From the ventless gas heaters, to the Romex hanging from the ceiling, to the outside siding being incomplete,I can’t for the life of me understand how it’s allowed to be occupied by people.

If you can get past that, you will love the people and the food. I’ll get past it and I’ll be back, you should too!

We were traveling & hungry so looking for something that was open! Glad we found this place!!! The owner was so friendly and the food was SO GOOD! Had the dumpling soup… YUMMY! Dumplings like Granmaw used to make! Others in party enjoyed their selections too! Would likely be my hangout if lived in the area! We were treated very well!

Visited February 2023 – here is current menu and prices.
Overall – Awesome food and prices. I had their signature famous Grudgeville Burger $10, upgraded to sliced spuds for $3 and added a piece of beer battered fried haddock for an extra $3 and for all of that it was only $16 —it was a lot of food and it was all good. The beer battered haddock was probably one of the best pieces of fried whitefish I have ever had – perfect crunch and flavor! I ordered a pint of bud light for $3 also. The bartenders very nice and overall the place was the perfect dive bar!

Just stop for the first time after driving by for 20 years. We never realized what we were missing. This place was perfect while my wife only had Chicken wings (which were fantastic) the other orders that people had looked really good. The portions were huge . This is a must-stop for us when we are headed back home to Mole Lake. This was further supported on the YouTube channel Wisconsin Dive Bars so judge a book by its cover They told us that they even have live music once in a while.

What a great place ! Stopped for lunch on the way home from a great trip and was instantly at home. From the old jukebox to the down home decorating. Was convinced to try the chicken chunks and loved them. Perfect amount of spicy, great portions to go with a few drinks. Definitely will stop again.

Great dive bar atmosphere. We got fish fry dinners and they were amazing, the battered fish was the star of the show. The staff was very friendly and multiple strangers introduced themselves. A great place for a low key night with great food.

Perfect Wisconsin dive bar with scrumptious food in the middle of no where. Grudgeville Burger was very flavorful and pried fabulously. The chicken dinner was also very good! After a longday in the woods hiking to waterfalls this was the perfect pit stop. Extra points for actually being open on Sunday after the last 2 places were not.

Was highly disappointed this time around. We thought ,”let’s go to Grudgeville for our anniversary dinner”… Should’ve went somewhere else. An older lady gets us our drinks and then walks away and conversates with the couple at the bar that arrived when we did, gets them their menus and we’re still waiting. After she takes their order, I had my man just grab us menus out of the dining room. Not even a minute later she comes up and asks if we’re ready to order yet. We get our order in and my man finishes his drink, while the bartender is still talking to the other couple she just grabbed his glass and refilled it WITHOUT ASKING OR EVEN MAKING EYE CONTACT. He only wanted the ONE and we still got charged for it. Then our food came and it was plated totally wrong. The main course was paired with all the wrong sides on how it was ordered. Everything was swapped around. At the end she was just trying to push us out of there like, “oh I see you’re almost done, good” with a HEAVY eye roll. Needless to say, won’t be coming back to one of our favorite places. Favoritism of regulars at its finest. Didn’t show a sliver of care for us, didn’t do a check in, didn’t even try to conversate at all.

Wasn’t even busy, had a group that was paying and leaving, that other couple, and us. You’d think with being that slow you’d get better service, correct and hot food.
