The Grubstake is located just off Highway 95 in Quartzsite, AZ. A small town just a few miles east of the Colorado River, and home to one of the largest Rock, Gem and Mineral Shows in the Country. Every year starting in January and lasting thru February is one of the largest gathering of RV’s and gem lovers a like! So while in Quartzsite stop by the Grubstake, where you will find great food, cheap drinks and some great entertainment. We are a full service bar that happens to serve some pretty darn good food (well we like to think so). So come in and visit us!!

Reservations were made for a simple meal and drinks after our wedding in advance. When we arrived they had set up our tables and decorated for our occasion. If that wasn’t enough, there was a cake decorated with our names. This is above and beyond my expectations. As our family is in Michigan we didn’t expect to be impressed. So many thanks for it all. I should mention that our small party enjoyed the food and bragged about how good their reheats were the next day. Thanks again Denise for your loving care. We’ll be back again soon.

Very friendly staff. A laid back atmosphere. Come as you are and enjoy your meal. They have a full bar. We ate a half order of the seafood platter between the three of us with two stacked plates leftover. Well worth the money.

This place is pretty outstanding! The portion sizes are generous! We were very pleased with the menu, the quality of the food, the staff, and the prices. You’ve got to order the appetizer sampler! It is huge, and really is enough food to feed two to three people all by itself. We went back a second time and just got the appetizer sampler and salads. And we were stuffed. They got a great karaoke off the patio, with some of the finest karaoke singers you have ever heard. We sat inside next to the open back door, and listened to the singers, and many times we swore that they were recordings not live singers. Really was a treat. Lots of good old songs from the 60s 70s and 80s. Lots of big screen TVs! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Thank you for liking my reviews, hitting that thumbs up button. 🙂
