This was my first time trying Grubbs and I must say I was really impressed with the food quality and quantity for the price. The customer service was great. The atmosphere was good, really enjoyed the old school music while waiting for my food. The wait wasn’t long. I ordered the 3 meat(ribs, chicken, brisket)with the jambalaya and potato salad. Everything was good, especially the chicken and brisket! So much food, I couldn’t eat it all, so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth!! Definitely will be returning. Operating hours: Friday-Sunday 5pm-9pm

It was a small area off the side of the road. But, the service was great, the food was excellent! We had the brisket sandwich, it was loaded, very good. My husband got Mac and cheese with his, said it was really good. I got the dirty rice, all I can say is it was so good! Good portions for the price.

First time in Houston and was struggling finding a BBQ spot that really looked like the real deal. Decided to stop by Grubbs since he was so close to the Hotel and from the smell of the grills I knew I was in the right spot. Gave me a brisket sample after hearing I never been here and was hooked as soon as my tongue hit the brisket! The Mac & Cheese and Jumbalaya Rice are bomb!! He gave me 2 sauces and honestly forgot about it until the last 2 brisket slices, the flavor is so spot on the sauce honestly isn’t needed. Adds a different flavor (very good way) but definitely doesn’t NEED it. Will be back before leaving

I read the online reviews and knew this was obviously the place to go.
We were a little hesitant at the location. Rough parking and a bit swampy. But as soon as we walked up and smelled the smoker, we were happy. The other patrons were loyal locals and encouraged us our whole wait that we were in for a treat.
My husband got the chicken and brisket with beans and macaroni and cheese.
I got the brisket with macaroni and cheese and jambalaya rice. Oh. My. Word.
The meat is fantastic and SOOO SOOOO MUCH! No joke, two meals had to be 10 pounds of food.
The sides were unbelievably good. Super cheesy Mac, but the jambalaya rice is a meal in itself with lots of chunks of smoked chicken and sausage. Sooo good! My husband’s beans were full of brisket. We stopped by for a meal before our early flight tomorrow and we are just crying because there is no way we can finish the food before we leave, though we will try.
The people waiting were so friendly that they really added to the whole experience. While waiting for the meat to come off the smoker, we met a veteran who was a master sergeant in the army and he was a joy to talk to. Five star experience all around.

Best BBQ in my life. 42 years old, and I have never experienced BBQ like this. First off, great guy it was a pleasure to meet. The food OMG the food where do I start?!? It’s DELICIOUS so delicious you can’t get nothing like this from a fancy restaurant it just doesn’t exist. The flavor guy brings out in the meat is intense. Grubbs Bar-B-Que has it going on. When in Houston area it’s a must stop.

My first time trying Grubbs and it definitely won’t be the last! The ribs and chicken were amazing. I came here with my husband the 2 meat plate was enough for both of us to share. The jambalaya rice and beans were also amazing additions to the meat. I highly recommend Grubbs if you’re in the Humble area!

Okay y’all… tonight was my first time eating here at Grubbs but it was definitely not the last. The food was absolutely delicious. The Jambalaya Rice was some of the best that I’ve ever tasted. Everything was perfect. I will be going back again real soon. Please do yourself a favor and stop by Grubbs Bar-B-Que and get some really good authentic Southern Barbecue. You will not be disappointed.
