We’re a family-run smokehouse tucked beside the Workspace Provision Co building in Youngsville. Every morning we start from scratch, slow-smoking our meats and making the sauces and pickles that bring our dishes to life. Come join us for lunch and enjoy comforting food made with care. We also offer catering for any occasion. We are currently temporarily closed due to an unexpected emergency. This is not permanent and we fully plan to reopen. What a cute little place! The family who runs it are all so sweet and the food was delicious. We got the sweet potato cinnamon roll, the veggie sandwich, and the pastrami sandwich. The pastrami was fantastic, the cinnamon roll was perfect, and the veggies were so fresh. They have a great outdoor seating area for when the weather warms up. So glad we found this little gem!

I just discovered Grub Smokehouse, a new addition to the area. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with potato salad, both made fresh to order. Since everything is prepared fresh, customizing my order was effortless—I simply requested ciabatta bread instead of sourdough. Everything is smoked in-house, including the bacon on the potato salad! While the location is unconventional, it makes it easy to get to. It’s right on Capital Boulevard, so you can skip the typical Wake Forest traffic headaches and spend your time enjoying your lunch.

Had lunch here with a gift card from our son. Grub is tucked away in an office building, but is well worth the find. Food was VERY good. Turkey Rueben and Beef Cheek, apple cole slaw and potato salad, all very fresh and very tasty! Owners are extremely friendly and really love what they do.

I don’t do reviews but took the time to do so this time. Just wow! Got the smoked chicken sandwich and is was the best ever thing I had had in a long time. Also got the Apple Slaw and very delicious. Good portions too. Go get you some!

HIDDEN GEM! Flavorful, tasty creations! I love the smoked chicken salad sandwich and the shrimp caesar salad. The apple coleslaw is a must try, it is not your average slaw. The food is amazing and packed with flavor in every bite! The combinations are different than anywhere else and really sets them apart. The owners are very kind and genuinely love what they do.

This place game up on a google search for local places to test in youngsville. I glanced the menu and wanted to try something different. Arriving I was told that there were a few items that were sold out. From my experience that’s a good thing. I had the smoked chicken salad sandwich and it was fantastic. The Smokey flavor for the chicken was something I have never had but I don’t think I could have it any other way. I can’t wait to try the pastrami and turkey sandwiches Great staff great vibe and I know during spring and summer this will be a great place to hang out for good food

We got two different salads and the pastrami sandwich so we could sample several things. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Every flavor in the fresh beet salad came through in the perfect balance. The chicken/pear/apple salad was great and the pastrami sandwich had plenty of pastrami which was tasty, loved the homemade pickles and the bread was good and hearty. What a great little find. They have a great back patio overlooking a field and woods. Would be a great place to listen to a band when their beer/license comes through!
