I loved the atmosphere and there was an informative video on how they built the restraunt set up on a loop.
The prices were very, very good.
My friend had the #1 burger ( I forgot the name of it) and it was MASSIVE!
I had the corned beef and it was really flavorful and the “come back” sauce on it was GREAT! It probably could have had more meat on it.
We both had the “Breakfast taters” and they did not disappoint! They were salty and flavorful, yum!!
I would definetly return here!
Original review-Meal is always delicious here. And staff is usually great. I was disappointed on 21 Oct when I noticed the charge of 10.99 for “Slammer”, yet menu price was 9.99. When I bought it to cashier’s attention, she mentioned that price of eggs was higher, therefore, so were their prices. I told her that the bottom line is patrons should pay price shown and that menu price change is an easy fix. She spoke with, l guess a manager in the kitchen, and refunded the difference. I noticed after that she wrote 10.99, for Slammer, on one menu, but all others still had the 9.99 price. This needs to be corrected on all menus for all prices that have increased. This is good business practice.
We kicked things off with a coffee and a smoothie—both were excellent and super refreshing. For food, we went with the breakfast platter, which included over-medium eggs, maple bacon, and crispy breakfast potatoes. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The only miss was the bagel, which came out a little too hard—probably over-toasted.
We also tried the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and it was fantastic—huge portion and really tasty. Overall, great vibes and great food. Looking forward to coming back soon!
I liked my tuna salad sandwich and the couscous was surprisingly good. Complemented the sandwich well!
I got one of their plates (the Slammer) and it was decent.
I ordered the slammer plate- best scrambled eggs ive had in a long time! Pancake was crispy on the edges and thick and fluffy on the inside! I added blueberries to the cakes and they come with butter and syrup! Bacon was not my fav but my friend loved the pepper on the bacon. Grits were different- the verdict is still out on those- also they put cheese in the grits which i didnt see on the menu. (I may have missed it but i think you should specify if you put cheese in the grits).
Overall, a great spot to have a beautiful breakfast at 2pm in the afternoon!!
Wings to share those were definitely the best part. We asked for a side of beans for my son and the staff was very helpful and willing to run downstairs and order some with our credit card. I really liked my Green Colada smoothie it was delicious. The water pitchers had nothing left in them and I asked for some ice water they happily brought me some ice water from downstairs. There wasn’t any silverware upstairs either just plastic cutlery in bags. They brought us silverware. It was just strange how there wasn’t much upstairs at 12:30 on a Sunday. We will probably be back to try different items on the menu.
