This is such a Kool and warm place.

I loved the atmosphere and there was an informative video on how they built the restraunt set up on a loop.

The prices were very, very good.

My friend had the #1 burger ( I forgot the name of it) and it was MASSIVE!

I had the corned beef and it was really flavorful and the “come back” sauce on it was GREAT! It probably could have had more meat on it.

We both had the “Breakfast taters” and they did not disappoint! They were salty and flavorful, yum!!

I would definetly return here!

Ordered Buckster’s Hash Bowl but they were out of corned beef and substituted with prime rib. I personally ordered without peppers and added an over easy egg. It was cooked well, including the egg. Potatoes seem deep fried which made them hot and crispy. Although I didn’t care for the overpowering cheese, the acidity of the grilled tomatoes were a delightful contrast to the richness of the meat. Server was shy and mousy but did fine. Yes there are price changes written on the menu but I’ll forgive that since this seems to be a one off place without the high tech luxury of chains that have the money to reprint at a whim. I felt it was a good value, fresh and delicious. I also really like the casual industrial look. I would definitely return and recommend it.

Went here for the first time on a Sunday morning. It was a great visit. Food was delicious and the rooftop was nice. Overall would definitely come back for sure and would definitely recommend this place. Definitely a long line but worth the wait.

Had the big easy with sausage and a sweet tea. I’ll tell you that was a good size breakfast sandwich. Also the biscuit was fall apart good, but structured enough to cut and eat in bite size portions. Absolutely would recommend for breakfast!

11/29/25 Checked today, online, to see if Grub updated prices (after my 21 Oct review below). They have not. This is unfortunate. It speaks volumes about them either not checking reviews or not caring. Either way, no plan to revisit to see if in store menu updated; doubt it.

Original review-Meal is always delicious here. And staff is usually great. I was disappointed on 21 Oct when I noticed the charge of 10.99 for “Slammer”, yet menu price was 9.99. When I bought it to cashier’s attention, she mentioned that price of eggs was higher, therefore, so were their prices. I told her that the bottom line is patrons should pay price shown and that menu price change is an easy fix. She spoke with, l guess a manager in the kitchen, and refunded the difference. I noticed after that she wrote 10.99, for Slammer, on one menu, but all others still had the 9.99 price. This needs to be corrected on all menus for all prices that have increased. This is good business practice.

Visited this spot for Sunday brunch around 11 AM and was pleasantly surprised. There was a short line when we arrived, but it moved quickly. Ordering is done at the counter, and you can grab a seat either indoors or outside while you wait.

We kicked things off with a coffee and a smoothie—both were excellent and super refreshing. For food, we went with the breakfast platter, which included over-medium eggs, maple bacon, and crispy breakfast potatoes. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The only miss was the bagel, which came out a little too hard—probably over-toasted.

We also tried the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and it was fantastic—huge portion and really tasty. Overall, great vibes and great food. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Reasonably priced and food came out fast. Unfortunately, the cashier neglected us twice before we placed our order, so hence the slightly lower rating.

I liked my tuna salad sandwich and the couscous was surprisingly good. Complemented the sandwich well!

I got one of their plates (the Slammer) and it was decent.

Great breakfast spot! There was a short line when we arrived and it moved quickly! menus were available to look at while we waited! They offer a good selection of breakfast options, including coffees and mimosas! We ordered and sat on the rooftop. They brought our food to us and water was complimentary (self-help style).
I ordered the slammer plate- best scrambled eggs ive had in a long time! Pancake was crispy on the edges and thick and fluffy on the inside! I added blueberries to the cakes and they come with butter and syrup! Bacon was not my fav but my friend loved the pepper on the bacon. Grits were different- the verdict is still out on those- also they put cheese in the grits which i didnt see on the menu. (I may have missed it but i think you should specify if you put cheese in the grits).
Overall, a great spot to have a beautiful breakfast at 2pm in the afternoon!!

Based on my rating, you can tell I did not care for the food. I see they have thousands that rate them very highly, and I hear their catering service has a great reputation. I found the food less than average, and the presentation made it seem even less. The grit bowl was served in a paper bowl and the coffee in a paper cup. I had a hard time figuring out how to get water. You have to order prior to setting down. You are given tip options prior to getting your food or even setting down. I doubt I will return.

We came to Grub on a Sunday. There was no parking available at the restaurant luckily we found street parking on a side street. We have 2 kids under 2 years old so that made things a little interesting. You have to order at the counter and it wasn’t clear what menu they were on at 12:15, I found out they were doing brunch and lunch (both sides of the menu). I asked for ice water and was told ice water was in pitchers upstairs. We ordered and decided to make the hike upstairs with 2 babies. The upstairs was nice and spacious. I got the Brookstone salad, it was ok I didn’t like the greens it came on and I really don’t like when they put salad dressing on the side, I didn’t think to ask for them to put it on. The chicken was pretty good, I wish I could remember the dressing because that was good too. My significant other got the Mammas big bird sandwich he said it was ok. My son loved the hashbrowns that came with it. We got some
Wings to share those were definitely the best part. We asked for a side of beans for my son and the staff was very helpful and willing to run downstairs and order some with our credit card. I really liked my Green Colada smoothie it was delicious. The water pitchers had nothing left in them and I asked for some ice water they happily brought me some ice water from downstairs. There wasn’t any silverware upstairs either just plastic cutlery in bags. They brought us silverware. It was just strange how there wasn’t much upstairs at 12:30 on a Sunday. We will probably be back to try different items on the menu.
