Overlooking a large, shady dog park at The Shacks, we have 25 beers on tap, and 50 in cans, featuring seasonal and regional brews. We also have mead, hard seltzers, ciders, flavored malt beverages, non-alcoholic beer, 4 wines on tap and a large selection of packaged beer and wine. Order a growler and enjoy it with friends on our large deck while the furry friends play or grab your favorite beer to go. That’s right, get a growler to go!

My family was visiting the area for the first time and we decided to stop by to get some OMG Tacos this evening around 7pm. Since we had never been to this food court before, we assumed that the patio benches in the back were shared seating for all the restaurants.
While my family was sitting there, a man (I’m not sure if he was the owner, manager, or a server) approached us and told my family they couldn’t sit at those tables. I completely understand if the seating belongs to a specific restaurant, but the way he spoke to my family was extremely rude and disrespectful.
I explained to him that we didn’t know the tables were not for public seating, but his response was still rude. Instead of politely explaining the situation, he continued with a very dismissive attitude and said something along the lines of “Oh, I know,” in a sarcastic tone.
The interaction made my family feel very uncomfortable. It honestly ruined the experience for us and completely made me lose my appetite.
Shacks Dining & Dog Park seems like a cool place to hang out, but after this experience I don’t feel comfortable bringing my family back. I also can’t help but wonder how many other people may have had similar experiences.
I hope management addresses this, because customer service and basic respect go a long way.
Friendly people, friendly pups and kid friendly.
Extensive tap list of local craft beers.
Highly recommend for a relaxing, laid back brew or 4!
You can order food from any of the places next door and enjoy with your beers.
They are dog-friendly and have an extensive list of beers, wines, ciders, and various items on tap. I opted for one of the few gluten free options — this Apple Pineapple cider.
