Pricey compared to other restaurants, local and chain alike. For a double cheeseburger, buffalo chicken sandwich, and making both of those a combo with one having a milkshake, the total was $41. The food wasn’t bad, but the flavor and portion definitely doesn’t justify the overall cost. Food was the textbook definition of average.

Wings absolutely trash. How you have no flavor even when they tossed in so called sauce. Breading was mushy. Fries were not done. Not worth 60 dollars paid i promise….if no breading the skin was falling off and thats what you chose to address is hilarious.

Grover’s: Comfort Food That Feels Like Home
If you’re on the hunt for classic Southern comfort food that tastes like it came straight out of a local kitchen, Grover’s is the spot. Tucked away with that charming, no-frills vibe, this place delivers the kind of food that makes you feel right at home—and hungry for more.
The Food? Straight-Up Delicious.
I went for the steak fingers with fries and gravy, and let me tell you—ooof. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and that golden gravy? A whole other level. It all tasted autochthonous—like true, local, made-from-scratch food. Even the toast and coleslaw hit just right.
A Local Favorite for a Reason.
Grover’s isn’t trying to be fancy—it’s serving real food with real flavor, and that’s exactly what makes it special. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the flavors are honest. You come here once and you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
Bottom Line:
Grover’s is Pensacola soul food at its finest. Whether you’re in the mood for something fried, smothered, or both, this spot hits every comfort food craving. Grab a seat at one of their red benches and dig in—you won’t regret it.

The food was excellent. It did take a little while. 10 wings and 4 slices of fried tomatoes cost 30$, but there’s still enough food for two meals. The customer service was great as well.

I ate here the other day and I was highly impressed. The food was great, then I topped it off with an amazing banana shake. I am planning on going there again when I visit Pensacola

I had a large order of the country fried steak, wings, tenders, and a French dip. All but one of the combos had a upgraded side of fried pickles. The French dip meat was extremely dry but the au ju saved it. The wings were ok but definitely not well done as requested. The tenders were great! The country fried steak was horrible, the breading was soggy and separating from the steak. The fried pickles with the tenders box were great but the pickles with the other orders were pale and undercooked. We ordered some fried green tomatoes crispy but then told the waitress just cancel those and add them as a side to the wings.. as we were waiting in line a waitress came to our car and asked how we wanted them packed,, if we wanted them by themselves or under the wings. When we got to the window and a different waitresses read back the order,, i explained we had canceled the single order of green tomatoes and added it as a side. She rudely said,, we came out there and asked you if you wanted them and you said yes. Ummm…no thats not what happened but instead of me being rude like her I said don’t worry about it. For a order total of $90.00+, this should have been a 4/5 star review/experience. I’m not sure what has happened here, but we definitely won’t be back for awhile if at all.
