This place doesn’t require you to wait to be seated, you can choose whether you want to sit at the bar or at a table. The server came over almost immediately after we sat down to take our drink order. We had a couple of IPAs on tap, fried pickles and sweet chili wings, the appetizers came out quickly and it was more than enough for 2. For dinner we ordered the black and blue salad with steak tips and a Cadillac burger, food came out very quick and well seasoned, and the portions were very generous, even for the small black, and blue salad which comes in two sizes and the small was more than enough, it was loaded with blue cheese crumbs and bacon bits. The steak tips were so tender and the char on the edges it was perfect! Loved the smoky flavor. The burger was slightly overcooked but not dry, and was well balanced. Our server was kind, friendly, and fast, we were glad that we gave this place a shot. Overall we had a good experience and the food was great, the only reason why we gave it 4 stars was because parking is very limited, so we had to park on the street.

Stopped by Grove Street Tavern for some bar pizza and an adult beverage. Mission accomplished. Went with a chourico, bacon and pepperoni pie backed crispy and laced edges. Pig pile was solid. Excellent bar pie. Cooked perfect. Good cheese pull. Tasty sauce. Had Sam’s winter on draft. Ice cold.

Response- well Paul I’m very familiar with you guys. I order regularly as I work around the corner so I come in at least twice a week . I did taste it as you can see a piece of the sausage pizza is missing and it tasted as awful as it looked. It just was completely burnt and dry . I actually called to try to speak to you an I told a female about my situation who told me you guys were busy
She would speak to the bartender and the owner an call me back . I got no call back an was not happy with the outcome. I spend alot of money at your establishment weekly
All I wanted was my pizzas remade as I raved about how good It always is and I was met with ” were busy right now so we will have to call you back “

Lively little pub over in Taunton near Mom and Dad. We’ve been a few times and given most of the menu a try. Lots of great bar snack/apps, the pizzas are awesome.
Just got a take out order that was so good I had to share:
*Clam Cakes and Chowder (special): Nice size order and they have a creamy, flavorful chowder.
*Cape Cod Reuben (special): Fantastic! A nice sized piece of fish, on toasted Rye with slaw and Swiss cheese. Great balance of flavors. Served with fries.
*Greek Salad (full size): One of the nicest Greek Salads around. We did the full size, plenty for 2. Chock full of veggies, the red/orange/yellow peppers were a nice addition to all the usual suspects (Olives, pepperocini, feta, grape tomatoes) and a nice house-made Greek dressing. We’ll definitely get again.
Overall, nice vibes and good food.

Stopped in for lunch -had heard so many good things about Grove St Tavern! Our visit did not disappoint! Loved the old school atmosphere and staff was friendly and attentive. We got the small nachos with chicken which was more than enough for two people with plenty of topping and cheese. We also ordered a garlic pizza and small Cesar salad. The garlic pizza was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The salad was fresh and the dressing thick and creamy.
Cannot wait to come back to try the burgers!

Come on. South Shore Bar Pizza let’s go! You’ll get what you’re looking for if (you know what you’re looking for) Great undercarriage crispy edges no flop and good on sauce. Don’t be afraid to add your own ingredients as well. We went on a Friday night and they had a ton of take out so the kitchen was a little behind but you’re not going to mind waiting for a few. Definitely worth a trip to Taunton. Honorable mention for the clam chowder.

Have been wanting to try bar pizza from mass for awhile now, I was in the area and it’s was lunch time so I definitely had to make a stop here. Took a look at the menu and ordered the bar pizza with feta, Roni and chorizo which was delicious and also ordered some onion rings. Everything was delicious .

usually like the pizza but tonight was not pleasing to the palates Vegetable pizza definitely over cooked and chourica slightly, both dry. The Buffalo chicken was ok.. I brought it to waitress’s attention showing bottom crust burnt she immediately dismissed it saying with vegetables it has to be cooked longer so pizza doesn’t retain water from vegetables. Nope pizza stayed in too long just sayin. if we hadn’t waited so long to be served I would have requested pizza be done over
