We eat at Grove Street Cafe quite often, I love the fact that most of their food is handmade not purchased then reheated. Their beef is locally and ethically grown no chemicals. We love the steak nights locally grown and delicious. We love their hummingbirds nest breakfast. Once in a while we will induldge and get a homemade dessert favorite would be their peanut butter pie. Coffee is always on and hot, friendly faces and good amount of seating.

Our server was so sweet and attentive and exactly the atmosphere you would expect from a small town eatery. Reason for 3 stars is for the following
– 1 order got the pick 3 breakfast items and got 2 orders of hasbrowns. Another party got a side order of goofy potatoes. The side order of goofy potatoes was 3x the size of the double order of hash browns. Didnt seem right.
– a breakfast burrito was ordered and it was ice cold in the center. Idk if it is pre-made and froze but it was disappointing.
Food was good. I got the hummingbird and loved the combo of everything.

Our food was wonderful, came out served hot and grilled perch and the smelt special was spot on and priced reasonably. Our server seemed a little rushed and considerably so since she was the only one, even though it was not overly busy, she was not able to offer up specials or or attention to details. She was very nice, but seemed stretched thin.

This place is great. All their food is good and fresh. My favorite is their Tuesday burrito. Very delicious. Their current waitress is amazing. She even remembers your last meal there and everyone else’s and gets your food fast! We go there as often as we can.

I have been several times over the past few weeks for breakfast, their food is always great. Just previously had their Monte Cristo sandwich on special and it did not disappoint ❤️ the overall family vibe this place gives off makes you want to keep coming back again and again. From an open menu to a dessert case full of delicious treats this place is a great establishment for meeting up with friends or family or just plain old wanting to partake in friendly conversation.
