Food was bland. The only non bland dish we ordered was tuna poke which was heavily sauced with a sweet/tangy sauce, an odd selection. Customers were all white. Service was off putting. Really awful value for money.

The place used to be really good. Don’t know why but quality wasn’t there tonight.

Excellent service! We held our 20 person Rehearsal Dinner at The Grouse and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Doris did a wonderful job making sure everything was put together and beautiful. Our waiter Scott was so attentive and helped make the evening run smoothly. The food was incredible as always!

The food is absolutely to die for! The cauliflower soup might have been the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth #pause. The short rib melted in my mouth and was perfectly cooked. I would definitely come back to Beaver Creek just to eat here. 10/10!!!

The restaurant is beautiful and feels special, the service was outstanding, the main courses were average unfortunately. My Elk dish was bland and my wife didn’t like her octopus at all. The waiter did graciously remove it from the bill. On a positive note, my son loved his burger and the brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had and I’m a huge fan of brussel sprouts.

The view was great, the service was nice but the food was underwhelming. I expected more from Grouse. For the price, I expected to be amazed, which did not happen. It was not very memorable and lacked flavor.

We were part of a large party, large enough for mandatory 22% gratuity. This was not an issue as it’s clearly stated in the menu. What was an issue was we requested, at the very beginning of our visit, that the bill be split. We were very clear that three people would be on one check and the remaining party be on another. This should not have been a difficult request, especially considering the tip was almost $300. Yet we were told at the end of the evening that they would not be able to do it as they didn’t know what belonged to who. There is absolutely no reason why this could not be done by the staff. I later had to spend my time to divide the ticket up. Unacceptable! For the price, this basic request should have not been an issue.

Grouse Mountain Grill provides an enjoyable culinary experience. The fresh baked bread with coarse salt and tapenade was a great start. Shared the Kale salad with a refreshing cucumber green goddess dressing topped with a 6 minute egg rolled in panko and lightly singed which was a nice addition. The pan seared scallops were large and perfectly cooked with a nice sear and a solid moist interior. They were accompanied by tender roasted multi colored carrots, cauliflower puree and a grape pistachio relish which also made a delicious topping for the scallops. The New Zealand Elk loin stole the show. Cooked medium rare this may have been the most tender meat I have had. If you have never had elk and are skeptical this is the place to try it. The elk was appropriately served with a great combination of wild mushroom risotto, roasted beets, parsnips and a savory huckleberry jus which provided a nice dipping sauce for the elk. The menu has a tempting selection of sides however we found we had plenty with what was included with the entres. We topped the dinner off with the “Bailey’s” classic creme brulee which was one of the best we have had. The serving is big enough to share. If you’re in the Beaver Creek village you will appreciate the creative menu and the attention to detail from the chef and staff.

Dinner here was one of the best dining experiences that my husband and I have had in recent memory. The food was excellent from start to finish. Definitely try the sweet potato soup and the duck. The service was top-notch. Each course came out promptly but was never rushed, and our waitress was kind and helpful. We will be back!

This has been one of our favorite restaurants in Beaver Creek for decades. It had been a while since we have been back and it was excellent as usual. The drinks were on par. The server was friendly, knowledgeable and we enjoyed his friendly banter. While they didn’t have the walleye(seasonal), the pork chop was outstanding, as well as the fresh catch. Still one of favorites.
