I stumbled on this little gem looking for small coffee places in the area. I read alot of reviews about how great the owner is and about their amazing drinks and pastries. I already had my coffee earlier this morning and was passing by on my way home from an appointment. I decided to stop in and check out the pastries, myself. After a good long look, I decided on a cinnamon raisin roll. I recognized the owner from photos. He handed me the bag and I went to hand him a $10 bill and he said, “Ah, don’t worry about it.” I was so pleasently surprised, and appreciative! I can see if I spent alot on a coffee, or if it was at the very end of the day and the pastries weren’t gonna sell, but this was 8:30 am on a Monday morning!
I haven’t had the chance to become a “regular” yet, and I’m dying to try their coffee, but from what I read about the owner, he interacts with everyone, so he must have spotted me as a newbie. Well done, sir. It’s that kind of customer service, and genuine kindness that pushes a small business to thrive! I will definitely be back!

First time trying Grounded Coffee and one of their Valentine’s Day drink. I ordered honey bun and asked to be less sweet and it was just perfect. I ordered a regular drip coffee as well. I couldn’t leave the place without ordering some pastries so I got the almond croissant and plain croissant to go. Croissants were fresh! Can’t wait to be back to try some other drink options. I love a good coffee especially on a cold day.

Grounded Coffee has become my go-to spot for their delicious espresso! It’s a rich, bold, smooth shot that makes getting out of bed at 5 AM feel totally worth it. Knowing they open early every weekday gives me that extra push to start my morning run. Fall is here and I look forward to cold winter mornings just for the reward of that perfectly pulled espresso.
The staff here make the experience even better—always friendly, welcoming, and ready with a smile. It’s that combination of great espresso and friendly people that keeps me coming back.

Stopped in after a friend recommended, its a quaint cafe well done offering a variety of drinks. The two staff members working there took orders and got the drinks out fairly quickly. We followed a couple ordering five complex cold brews and asked for a latte and a pumpkin pie spice cold brew. The latte was prepared as a cold drink not a hot coffee. They tasted ok but heavy on the syrup, tasting more like a dessert. Caffeine and sugar combination was a little too much. Next time will ask for a more basic hot coffee. $15.25 for two cold lattes, 3% surcharge if you use credit card which was posted so you knew before swiping. Bathroom clean.

☕️ Absolutely love this coffee shop! The drinks are fresh and full of flavor, and the atmosphere is so cozy. The customer service is amazing everyone is super friendly and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their customers. Definitely my go-to spot for great coffee and good vibes!

Cute coffee shop. The upside down was delicious. The pumpkin patch was good too but a little on the sweeter side. They need maybe a 3rd person working because it was crazy busy and a long wait for drinks.

Anne and Hanna here! We’ve been to grounded a few times and we thought the drinks were amazing. Today was different, we walked in and instantly got a warm welcome and a great experience. I ordered a matcha (which 10/10 y’all need to get it.. it’s so smooth and perfect) and when I ordered, the owner Mike, made sure to make my drink and to make it special. He gave me, one of the best matcha’s I’ve ever had and I’m so grateful. His barista who took our order was very kind and very helpful when I was asking what type of pastries there were. Overall the customer service was unmatched and I will be going back every week.

Finally the coffee shop we deserve in the Shade! Coffee is always good and they keep coming up with new drinks. I recommend the Samoa or a pour over. Reasonably priced for the quality you’re getting. Staff is always friendly and gives a great amount of eye contact. Not too much to where it’s awkward but just a solid amount. I’ve brought my kids in a few times and they’ve always been just as friendly with them and have even let them help make lemonade behind the bar. You would think Garrett Stubbs works there with all the good vibes in the shop. Great music that’s not too loud, great atmosphere where you can say hi to people and hang out for a bit. Most importantly thought, the coffee is amazing.

We had such a great visit here. The dos leche latte was smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweet—definitely a standout. We also tried a few pastries, all fresh and flavorful. The kids loved their hot chocolate, and it’s always a win when everyone leaves happy. The owner was so welcoming and even gave us a free cup of a special blend, which was a really thoughtful surprise. You can tell there’s care behind everything they serve. Great coffee, great people—we’ll definitely be back.
