Super peaceful atmosphere. This cozy little cafe within walking distance of the courthouse has a charm you will not soon forget, and very friendly and efficient staff. The food is delicious, and the coffee and tea are right up there with more expensive commercial conglomerates.
Plus they have some of the most amazing art I have seen in a long time. Very pleasant spot to sit and let the world pass on by.
Highly recommended!

Looking for a vegetarian breakfast, I came here on a Friday morning after visiting the Farmers’ market.
The barista was very friendly, and I like the atmosphere of the cafe—beautiful art and soft jazz music (too loud for conversation, but didn’t bother me since I was alone.)
The veggie breakfast sandwich was a disappointment. The sautéed mushrooms were nice, but then it had some wilty spinach and shredded carrots with hummus—no egg :/ unfortunately the hummus made the English muffin a little soggy. Acceptable in the end, but overpriced; nothing to come back for.

I love finding local shops for breakfast and atmosphere to start my day. Grounded Cafe was awesome! Fun and funk cafe. The breakfast turkey sandwich was amazing. Did not get a picture of it; because it did not last that long to take a picture! Yummm ☺️ . The young lady helping was great. Will be back!

I briefly stopped by Grounded Cafe this morning following a long drive to Pueblo for a doctor’s appointment. I was pleasantly surprised by every aspect of this shop. The barista (and maybe owner, too?) was very kind and friendly, the vibe was relaxed, the decor was artistic and creative, and the food and coffee were excellent. I ordered the breakfast turkey sandwich and a cappuccino and was very pleased with both.
You can really feel the genuine love and passion behind every aspect of this cafe. If I lived in Pueblo, I would certainly become a regular. Highly recommended!

Came here today after a long while and was pleased at the decor and the quality of the service. Had a Deluxe Smoothy which served as my breakfast and was very happy to have a decent smoothy which is plant based in Pueblo
The service was excellent and the variety of food allowed for a vegetarian palate to be satisfied! I watched as regulars came in and there was service provided that I very rarely see and new people were kindly greeted!

This is the cutest coffee shop in Pueblo! The drinks are so good! The vibe is great! Jazz music plays and I love the loft upstairs. Very cute! I ordered the ice mocha with oat milk. Very good.

While passing by, my friend and I wanted to grab some good coffee and we stumbled upon this place. The barista was really nice and knowledgeable. She told us about the artist whose work was displayed on their wall. It was a beautiful story about how the artist had turned a bad experience into a purposeful and beautiful form of art. We enjoyed the great coffee and oatmeal that they served.

Squawk Coffee is a hidden gem of the coffee bean here in Pueblo. A little off the beaten path of Starbucks and the Daily Grind*, Squawk Coffee offers a new aromatherapy for the caffeine seeker. With a cozy interior and a loft for reservation the building offers a pleasant atmosphere. The space opens up dramatically when the weather warms up as the outside court is very inviting. In the early morning I hear there are yoga meet ups during the spring and summer.
And interesting factoid: the history of a coffee shop in this building is extensive. The most recent owners have been using the same bean roaster for about 14 years! It is called Keva bean company. They air roast the beans instead of using the commonplace metal roasting technique. This reduces char taste and creates an equal roast over each batch!
