Great little place to eat while on a work trip, food was incredible and staff were super friendly! Got their “Manhattan” with double meat and they did not disappoint! Side of potato salad was awesome as well! Will have to go back and try more while I am here!

Visited today. My first time was pre-COVID and the food was great at that time. Today my boyfriend and I visited for take out. We were reviewing the menu and two gentlemen walked in behind us and the Caucasian cashier yelled “ we don’t serve your kind in here!” And they all laughed. Right then, is when I felt I needed to leave and I regret that I didn’t. In the middle of us placing our order she stopped and said she had to leave and asked the Hispanic host to take over. That was totally unprofessional as well. It was as if she didn’t want to serve us. The food was horrible. I ordered the Turkey Club and potato salad. The sandwich was worst than gas station food. I ate it because I was hungry and but once I was done I realized I should have just trashed it. The potato salad was mostly mayo and I threw it out. The sandwich barely a smear of mustard and it looked that they took that smear and slid the two pieces of bread to share the smear. The the entire thing was disgusting. The quality of the meat and cheese taste worse than processed meat and cheese from the grocery store. The bread was soggy and cheap. I’ll never return. I regret not taking a picture and posting. If I could give it zero stars…I would.

I tried the Fiery Roast Beef with a side of Potato Salad. The portion and quality of meat was very excellent. But holy smokes, the potato salad was actually different than everyone else’s, and in a fantastic way.

The atmosphere is super clean and everyone is super friendly and informative. Great experience.

I recently ordered the smoked panini club w/ potato salad. Let me tell yall the potato salad was the best potato salad I’ve ever had in my life. I was scraping the container it was so good. And the panini was good to. Price very reasonable and excellent customer service

I am from New York City so I know what a pastrami sandwich should look and taste like and I also know what a Reuben sandwich should look and taste like. Both of these sandwiches were lacking in taste, and for the amount of money we paid for the sandwiches we should have received nice portions. This is not a place to go to if you’re looking for an authentic New York deli. I should have read the reviews first.

A perennial favorite. As close to a real NY deli as we have found in the Atlanta area. The Reuben is killer! The knishes are real knishes. And the black and white cookies are the real thing. Not Katz’s, but pretty danged close!

Before work from home days this place was a regular. I had been craving their Manhattan pastrami sandwich so my wife and I went there for lunch. The potato salad was as amazing as I remember it. The Manhattan sandwich was just ok. First of all don’t compare it with the picture on the wall! I didn’t know sourdough bread came in such small loafs! The sandwich was smaller than a piece of wonder bread, and with the pastrami and sauerkraut it wasn’t much thicker than a homemade PB&J. Still good food, but it wasn’t much for the cost.

This is a response to an earlier review from Patricia- I was one of the gentleman that walked in when The host said to us “we don’t serve your kind”. She is a dear friend who always treats all customers with a smile, respect and joking around like family. I eat at this location at least 3 times a week. The food is awesome and the variety tremendous. Anyone with half a brain would know we knew each other and she was having fun- to get offended and use “Caucasian” and Hispanic” in a Food review shows the level of ignorance and DEI non-sense- This is a small business owner who has been in business for 25 years in this community with tremendous reviews- and then here you come- offended? oh and before you just turn and walk away, you order, you wait, you eat the food and then spew your non-sense- you have no credibility –

We wanted to hit a local deli for breakfast and tripped across Grouchy’s. From a foot/car traffic perspective, it was very light. As we entered, the appearance was an “old deli”; yes, I’m inferring sort of showing its age as well. I had the protein omelette and wife the veggie bowl. The food was okay (after sending it back once as it was the wrong ingredients). The bagel didn’t have that tough outer that I was missing from a NY deli. All in all, after $19, it’s an okay place.
