We just had our daughter’s 4th birthday party at the Grotto’s on 202 and we had an amazing experience! Don was our server and Shey was our contact for scheduling the party and helped make sure all my questions were answered, including pizza prep for a few kiddos that had dietary restrictions. The party space was perfect for our crew and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the make-your-own-pizza party package that they offer

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Grotto’s Pizza! Donald was a proud and outstanding employee who served 15 children like they were kings and queens. He was patient, kind, and truly made the kids feel special.
The manager, Michael, was amazing and possesses a gift that’s hard to find these days—exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The kids even said it was the best birthday party ever!
To top it all off, the two cooks came out from the kitchen to say hello to the kids, which meant so much to them. From top to bottom, this was a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire Grotto’s team for making it so memorable! I can’t thank you enough for an amazing dining expereince!

The regulars become family and they take such good care of their customers. Service is spectacular!!! Like I’d come here again and again just for the service. So many relationships grown with customers and owners and staff. 11/10
They have a take out section, a wrap around bar, a gelato area, and regular seating. You can do events here too. Take out has its own entrance but you can access the main restaurant part from that side. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. They have TVs everywhere for sports.
Food is pretty standard pizzeria food. Portions are huge! The pizza has a lot of sauce but I loved the crust. Everything comes out hot and fresh and seems like they do a tonnn of carry out business.
Overall, the staff and community this place creates is above all else.

Food and pizza are always good but I hope that with new ownership they put some money into the furnishings. Most covers on the seats are rags and when you sit down the cushions have been gone for decades. Please make the necessary repairs to make it a more enjoyable dining experience.

I had the pleasure of being waited on by Michael Baylock. He was by far one of the best and most outstanding server I think I ever had .I asked for some special accommodations. He was right on it. Service was outstanding. He was a pleasure to deal with. I would drive an additional 50 miles just to eat at this grotto’s Pizza because of his service and attention. It was outstanding!!!!

I get grotto‘s pizza takeout frequently and have my entire life. But the new cashier in the checkout area of grotto’s on 202 Concord Pike is the only one I can speak for is customer intimidation you have to accept Pain 10-15 or 20% tip or put no . Tonight the cashier with 2 inch long nails, and an attitude was taken back when I said you don’t tip for takeout. I worked in the food industry many times and you work damn hard for a chip. It’s a gift you give for good service. I’d like to know why people like Dominic feel that the people he’s hired to hand you your food deserve a tip. A waitress serves your food serves your drinks put silverware on a table brings you napkins checks to make sure everything is OK. Clears your dishes adding to the atmosphere of your meal. People order takeout because they don’t feel like being waited on or paying a Chip tonight as I drove away, thinking that they may have put boogers or spit on my meal for not giving them a tip for handing me a box made me question whether or not I’ll go Back. I know I’m just one person but people that own restaurants need to understand that handing somebody a bag or a box does not warrant a tip.Nuff Said
