We stopped in this afternoon for some beers and chicken sandwiches. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent! The bartender was attentive and helpful. The sandwiches, as always, were delicious! Plenty of French fries and onion rings as sides. As we were heading out, we bumped into the owner. Chatted for a few minutes. She is warm, genuine, the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular even when you haven’t been in a while. So lucky to have this little gem in Groton!

Stumbled across a golden little nugget off the beaten track. Visiting family a few days before Christmas. Never knew the place existed. Everything was terrific. Friendly service and atmosphere. The baked haddock was absolutely delicious. Perfect. I don’t do ratings much but it was such a pleasant experience I felt obliged to do this one.

We came in with a large party over 30 people there was another large party there as well. Service spectacular food amazing! I went into the kitchen after to tell them they killed it!! Fantastic job!

well this place has been here for a while with some different titles, next to the local golf course, not to big, bar and seating and an outside dining area also….ate at the bar which became sort of packed, actually it got pretty busy here so popular locally, drinks were interesting and good, food was very good, we had a nice salad and the fish and chips and enjoyed both, both a little pricey but that seems hard to escape these days, service was pleasant, place got very noisy. but we enjoyed the meal….

There aren’t a ton of options in this area, so we tried this place. It was pretty good, and I can tell it’s a local favorite as there were lots of people that knew the servers. Decent selection of draft beers and it mostly consists of typical bar fare. I just thought the burger was ok, but the fries were pretty tasty.

GPH has been one of my favorite places around for quite some time, but the newest addition GPH on the road/ Smoke Show BBQ is AMAZING! If you get a chance to try the food truck, you will absolutely not regret it!! Would 10/10 recommend the BBQ plate w/ two meats. We got brisket and pulled pork and my God, was it delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The sauce was perfect, not too messy, not too sweet, it was just right and came with outstanding Mac n cheese, slaw, cornbread, and spicy pickles! For $25, it was more than enough to share with their very generous portion! Very excited about this new addition!

Booked an adult (80s prom theme) birthday party for my wife through and with the Publik house for catering and to use the Country Club function hall. Karla was great to work with – accommodating, flexible, and professional. Prices were quite reasonable and the food was abundant and very tasty. We received a lot of feedback from guests about both the food and the numerous staff who ensured things ran extremely smoothly. Definitely recommend all around.

We visited Groton Publick House while visiting for a wedding. Adam (bartender) gave perfect service and was very attentive throughout the meal. He was knowledgeable about the area and the menu. Drinks and food were excellent. Fish and chips and Turkey BLT were great, and the jalapeño margaritas were amazing. I hope we are in the area again to eat here! Highly recommend.

Great end to any day! Eat in, enjoy the deck or patio or take home they are all great options.
The nachos are the best around, they take “Loaded” to another level! I usually bring a full sheet home and they are gone before I can get a photo but not this time! Hard not to sneak a bite on the way home, they smell delicious!
The picture just doesn’t do the generous amounts of cheese and pulled pork, and fresh vegetables justice. The guacamole on top, gets a little flattened during the ride home but nobody in my house seems to care. I am sure they would put it on the side if i asked. I love that it is finished with a ranch dressing drizzle!
Beautiful and tastes as good as it looks! What a hit! Heading back soon! Maybe tonight and start the weekend early!
