Husband got the Kodiak steak burger (double). Finished it minus a bit of bread. Said it was one of the best burgers he’s ever had. I got the prime rib hoagie. Holy crap was mine fantastic. The meat was exactly how I like it, rare, tender, perfect amount of fat to meat. Au jus perfectly flavored. Not too salty, not bland. Absolutely perfect. Fries were excellent as well. Service was perfect. Staff friendly. I got to chat with the owner. Great family owned restaurant.

This is a Midwest National Treasure. The owner is super nice, and so is the lady who brought our food out. And the food was fantastic! I ordered the hula bear pizza. It was huge! I love thin, crispy crust. The sauce, the cheese, the ham, the pineapple, all incredible. My husband got the Kodiak burger, and he loved it. It was massive and delicious. Our daughter got an order of cheesecurds, and they were outstanding. Loved the atmosphere. We definitely want to come back to try the bloody Marys.

We ordered the smothered chicken, and it was indeed bursting with flavor. Upon the chicken’s arrival, my initial thought was how I would manage to consume the entire portion. It is safe to say that we both had leftovers. This was undoubtedly the best chicken dish I have ever tasted. The staff and owner were all friendly, and the service was excellent. All the food being served to other customers looked equally amazing. I will certainly return. By the way, the salad and fries portions were also generous and delicious.

Let me start by saying that five stars isn’t enough for this place. Great atmosphere. The vibe was all that and then some. The food was absolutely amazing and cooked exactly like we asked. The father and son duo in the front and the one working that food oooooohhhhhh weeeeeee!!!! Flavor on top of flavor. I had the ribeye steak sandwich and the Queen had the cowboy burger (YUM YUM). HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout out to the dad and thank you for celebrating our anniversary with us. Four thumbs up for having a great place. As a celebrity chef it’s hard to go somewhere and everything taste great. The recommendations were spot on with the confidence of knowing their product. Thank you for a very welcoming, fun and great food experience. We will be back. I promise.
