Beat Homemade Breakfast
I definitely would recommend stopping in and enjoying a bite. Be warned that they fill the plate up and definitely have some for leftovers. I have a feeling this restaurant will be getting even bigger soon.

The absolute best burger I’ve ever had in my 65 years of living. The atmosphere was quaint and the service was superior. A mom and pop operation that is a “must” stop in Murphy, NC. Honestly, there is no need to go anywhere else in town for breakfast or lunch.

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Nantahala and he wanted french toast. Guy was very nice. I loved the homemade bread and my omelette was fantastic. Very filling. And yes my husband loved his french toast.

Really adorable little place with amazing food and giant cinnamon rolls to die for. Only 36 cooked each day so get there early. Ice cold milk too. .p.s. adorable and clean ladies room as well. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry, takes a while but worth waiting for.

We stopped at this spot driving through Murphy and so glad we did! All I wanted for breakfast was a true chicken biscuit with cheese and we were not disappointed! While this wasn’t on the menu the owner told my husband he could definitely make it for us and was very nice and happy to do so. Everything was made FRESH and you could tell, the chicken was crispy with the perfect seasoning and tender, the biscuit was big, fluffy, and flaky just like they should be! Honestly keeping this place as one of my permanent stops whenever we drive through because it was that good!

I took my son here today for breakfast. Prices are high, especially $10 for just biscuits and gravy was irritating. But the $15 meal comes with 2 huge pancakes, two eggs, bacon, and a good amount of home fries wasn’t too bad of a deal so we did that. It would be nice to see a quality sugar free pancake syrup option though. Didn’t like that at all and had to use the regular syrup which is not what I want/need lol.

I had scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, grits, and pancakes. I had nearly the same thing at another place the day before. Grizzley was best by far. The pancakes were perfect, sweet cream sweetness. The grits. I’m not normally a huge grits person and ate way more of my grits than I generally do. These grits were special. I love this place.

Hometown, homeMADE, comfort food. Small dining area so get there early and keep parties to 4-6 people max. Amazing service, feels like home.
Reminds me of proper southern home cooking. All bread items (biscuits, bread, cinnamon rolls…) made from scratch. Sausage patties made from scratch. This kind of food is SO hard to find nowadays.

Great homemade food! Me and the wife ate there for breakfast Sunday morning and I’m glad we did! We tried one of their homemade cinnamon rolls and oh my gosh it was huge! Then we ordered breakfast and everything was hot and fresh with big portion sizes so you definitely get your money’s worth…..next I will have to try their lunch.
