Grit & Grind Coffee is hands-down one of the best coffee spots in Washington. The coffee is consistently excellent—smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
The staff is friendly, fast, and welcoming every single time, even during busy hours. The vibe is clean, modern, and comfortable whether you’re grabbing a quick cup on the way to work or hanging out for a bit.
Being right off State Street makes it super convenient, and it’s become a go-to stop whenever I’m in the area. If you appreciate great coffee, solid service, and a locally owned spot that does things right, Grit & Grind is a must-visit. ☕️

My fiancé got the Salty OG iced latte with oat milk. He says “Mmm… it’s salty… and sweet… and OG… *sips* Mmm! DAMN! That’s good babe.”
I would describe it as nutty (from the oat milk which tastes fresh with a slight nutty flavor), very light caramel flavor, a bit on the sweeter side but nice and refreshing! I’m sure it would be soo good hot. Hubby says 10/10 and I agree.
I got the hot chai with oat milk (we’re lactose intolerant lol). Hubby says: *sips* MMM!! DAMN!! That chai is to DIE FOR! *more sips* Mmm!!
I really liked this! I think it tasted much different than what I’m used to because of the oat milk? It was a little sweeter and not as spicy as I’m used to with chai, I really liked it though! It was more like a yummy hot cocoa with a lil spice! I think if milk doesn’t make your belly rumble, try it with the whole milk unless you like it sweeter and less spicy. Hubby says 8/10. I agree.
Service was 11/10!! Athena was so sweet, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations! 11/10 barista. So fire.
Overall 10/10 experience, 10/10 recommend!

wonderful employee! I went around 8:30 and there was one employee working busting her ass off! There was a line for the drive through and she was running in and out trying to get the generator operating while still taking care of her customers !! + She still had my drink out within 5 minutes from ordering, regardless of everything going on! i was in and out within less than 10 minutes

Sorry, I shook my drink before taking that photo. Trust me when I say it was aesthetic(for you Instagram warriors out there). Just passing through, and stopped here for some pre road trip caffeine. I wish I got the owner’s name, but he was so kind. On top of that, this is legitimately the best coffee I’ve had in Utah so far. They epitomize the words on the cup, and we both left feeling happy and absolutely said ‘hell yeah’ when we took our first sip. Win win. Support this business, they’re awesome!

Came here a few times on our vacation and it’s so good! I got an iced chai tea, and a strawberry refresher with boba, and a white mocha frappe. All of it was so yummy!

Just got the Peppermint Mocha cold brew from the Hurricane location and it’s like Christmas in a cup! So YUM! I have tried other locations in Hurricane and Grit never disappoints!

Passing through the town and saw this cute place on Google. The person who helped us was so kind. I got an iced salty OG and it was delicious. It was the perfect combination of coffee, caramel, and cream. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Zion!
