We had a great experience at Gringo’s in Pearland! The food is always delicious and consistent, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming every time we visit. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, which makes it a comfortable place to eat with family or friends.
It does get pretty busy and can be a little loud, but honestly that’s to be expected for such a great and popular restaurant. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for good food and friendly service!

I decided to eat at Gringos Pearland today and I don’t think I’ll ever return. As I was eating my food I found a piece of hair in my tortilla soup. We had to get the attention of another server because our server RJ never came to check on us. When I brought it to the server’s attention, he just said “I have to get a manger” and was not apologetic. When RJ finally got the manager Sunny he seemed even more unapologetic. He made it seem as if we were lying because he keeps asking where was the hair, as if he couldn’t see it. Overall bad service and very disappointing meal.

Our server Jose was awesome!! I came to meet my 2 cousins with our babies!! We hadn’t seen each other in a minute because we were all pregnant at the same time and since we had our babies we have been in our newborn nesting stage. So this was our first meet up since giving birth… we had a good meal and drinks!! We even got our meal paid for by a very nice person. Who ever they are may God continue to bless them. I appreciate the staff being able to sit us in a place where we were able to park our strollers (we had 3) and we were still comfortable. We will be back!!

My cousin-sister and I dined at Shadowcreek Gringo’s tonight as we have periodically throughout the years. Miraculously, we were seated at our Regular table. Our waitress, Jaz, came to our table with sunshine wrapped in a smile and topped with the most excellent service that we’ve ever had in 10 years! She was attentive, proficient, knowledgeable and anticipated our every need! The food was good as well. Please ask for Jaz when you come here and you will Not be disappointed!

Been here a couple of times for lunch with friends, never had a bad experience at all and the food was always fast, hot and delicious. Their appetizer options are really tasty and they have a good variety to choose from but don’t eat too much of it because the food portions are never skimpy, it’s a lot. I don’t know what they put on their green salsa but it’s like crack. It’s so delicious.

My girlfriend and I met up here . Our servers name was Nate . He was so nice had recommendations for us and was very accommodating . We ordered queso and of course had the nice chips and salsa . Service was solid ! Enjoyed the pollo marisco, with flour tortillas was very satisfying. We were checked on to ensure we didn’t need anything extra. Overall this was great outing . Thank you Nate for your kindness and I definitely will be back with family .

Wonderful overall experience at Gringo’s! The food was delectable, service was fantastic and atmosphere was wonderful- even despite going in the middle of the lunch rush!
Ordered the Banging Tacos and their name says it all!!! They truly were banging!! I’m disappointed to learn that they’re only temporarily on the menu though… hopefully management will be able to get those added permanently.
The tacos had the perfect blend of sweet and saucy. And the price was great for 3 tacos, rice and beans!! (I saw grilled 2 tacos on the menu for just $1 less).
Our server was fantastic- attentive and responsive without being overbearing or making us feel as though we were being rushed.
And as always, I ❤️❤️❤️ that you can get the FREE ice cream after your meal in the front of the restaurant!!
The chips and salsa were also exquisite!! You can tell that they make the salsa fresh and the avocado dip was delicious as well! And best of all, it’s still free!! I’ve recently heard of Mexican restaurants that are starting to charge for chips and salsa- but I appreciate that they still offer us value! (Please don’t change that )

If you are in Houston and you are looking for some pretty good Tex-Mex, this is not a bad option. I went here after attending a graduation with about 12 adults and 3 children. We had to wait about 30-45 minutes, but that was because we didn’t make reservations. We didn’t mind though because they had free ice cream while we waited to enjoy! Once inside, we were seated at a very long table plus a booth, so accommodating large groups is not a problem for them. The waitress was great! She answered questions and made sure to learn about food allergies to communicate with the kitchen staff. Once the food came out, we were served at the same time, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you have a large group. I would also recommend calling ahead so that your wait time isn’t long. Lastly, I gave them 4 stars on the food because although my food was great (I ordered the Pollo Loco), my husband ordered the Ribeye Street Tacos, but he said they were “ok”. He said he has had better. I would still recommend coming here!
