Is this the best bistro/coffee house in Crossville, TN? Probably. I haven’t eaten in all of the eateries in Crossville, and that’s because I don’t stop eating here to try anywhere else! Why would I? This place is fabulous! Their Reuben/Rachel sandwiches are second to none as is their French Toast, Biscuits & Gravy and a by all means try their sensational flat bread breakfast! Take some cannoli or cheesecake home with ya if you’re too full, but by all means have some dessert!

I love the waitstaff, they are so helpful and fun. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing…even when it’s busy!

I visited Grinder House Coffee in downtown Crossville, TN, and it was an absolute treat. I ordered their grilled breakfast panini on rosemary parmesan sourdough, and it was delicious. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, the thick-cut bacon added the perfect savory crunch, and the fresh fruit on the side made the whole meal feel balanced and satisfying.

I also ordered a hot latte, which was smooth and rich. The café itself has a warm, inviting vibe with plenty of seating, great for relaxing, working, or meeting up with friends. The decor is charming and comfortable, and the staff was quick to get both my food and drink out. Parking was easy, which is always a plus in a busy downtown spot.

Overall, Grinder House is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Crossville. Great food, great coffee, and a great atmosphere. I’ll be back!

I can’t get over how perfect this place is! I’m in town visiting my dad (who goes to the same places all the time). On a rare morning by myself I looked up somewhere for breakfast and this place came up!

The atmosphere is phenomenal, there are a plethora of choices of different types of seating, the baristas are so friendly and helpful, and the food!

I got the 2 egg and bacon with a homemade biscuit which was cooked perfectly. And I treated myself to the cinnamon roll
I’m pretty sure I’m going to come back after lunch with my dad for another cinnamon roll.

I highly recommend this coffee shop that is so much more than a coffee shop. I wish I had a place like this in Florida where I live! 12/10!

Grinder House Coffee Shop – A Fun Spot with great food!

Grinder House Coffee Shop is an absolute gem and a genuinely fun spot to grab breakfast! The atmosphere is lively and inviting, making it a perfect place to start your day without breaking the bank.

I was immediately impressed by how reasonable the prices are, especially considering the truly huge portions they serve. You definitely get your money’s worth here.

The coffee hit the spot perfectly—it was exactly what I needed to kickstart the morning. But the food was the real highlight. I ordered the Breakfast Panini, and the star was definitely the incredible thick-cut bacon layered inside.

My partner ordered the Stuffed French Toast, and it was heavenly. It was topped with fresh strawberries and a generous dollop of homemade whipped cream, all drizzled with just the right amount of honey.

If you are looking for delicious food, great coffee, and an enjoyable atmosphere where big portions meet reasonable prices, Grinder House is a must-visit! Highly recommended.

Also they serve breakfast and lunch all day long and will occasionally have live music. I’ll be back to try lunch.

The cake and cappuccino was so good that I started in before taking the picture (sorry ). Great vibe. Lots of other delicious desserts and coffees let alone a big menu of breakfast and lunch items. Worth going back again … and again!

Great experience in a small town! The staff were kind and the coffee delicious. We got chai, a coconut latte, and the house blend along with pumpkin cheese cake and enjoyed it all.

First time visit. And last. Walked in and was looking at menu. Lady named Bree did not greet us. Instead was gossiping w her coworker. Felt dismissed. Was looking over menu at the register. and she told us to go take a seat and look at the menu. lol. there was no one else in line. she said it rudely and like us standing there was an inconvenient too her conversation. No professionalism and a nasty attitude. Incorrectly rung up our coffee order. When the other barista brought out our drinks, we told her that it was incorrect. What were we met with ? No apology, no customer service. Was met with an attitude, she acted like it was an inconvenience to make it right. And she reused the same cup. The coffee was supposed to be hot, when she remade it, it came out lukewarm. it wasn’t even hot coffee. makes me question the coffee practices. Additionally, an upcharge for hot coffee ? lol. not even starbucks does that. Staff on their phones during service behind the counter. No professionalism or hospitality. Overall terrible staff and terrible coffee.

It’s difficult to get a 5 star rating from me but Grinder House has accomplished that.
The service was very pleasant and the menu vast for a small coffee shop.
Flavor! The Turkish flatbread was full of it and my family was also very pleased with their orders as well. They even have gluten free options for those that need that.
This is a place I plan on returning and looking forward to the day I do.
Good job Grinder House.

Ive heard great things about Grinder house and today was a first time visit. The tables had menus set on them making it appear you sit and order. After observing other patrons, I realized you order at the counter and then take a seat to wait for food. There was much confusion over this process and where the line was, other patrons were frustrated as well for not standing in the right place to order. The food is not good and very over priced for the quality. The pepperoni on the $18 flat bread pizza was under an excessive amount of cheese and was barely warm. We also ordered lasagna soup and panini, the “soup” was not a soup, but instead a chopped up lasagna. The panini bread was not good, I am unsure of whatever sauce was smeared across the thin low quality ham. Over all the food is lacking flavor and quality. I ordered water and an unsweetened tea. The ticket price nearly $40 for sub par food and an awkward experience.
