A delicious little place in the middle of the mountains, the staff was very friendly and courteous, food was amazing and desserts were the best, after a long drive, we felt so lucky to run into this restaurant!

We went for our 37th anniversary dinner on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. My wife had the house special cannelloni, (specials are identified by a green box on the menu), and it was great. I had eggplant and it was wonderful too. Both came with a side of spaghetti, an excellent hardy minestrone soup, a salad and of course Italian bread with garlic butter on the side. The Reserva Chianti paired well with the meal. For dessert an excellent Lemon mascarpone berry cake. The portions were just right also. The staff was great and we look forward to coming back. My apologies for not taking pics of the meals. We were hungry….. here is the dessert

Love this place! Reminded us of the local family Italian restaurant in our neighborhood growing up. Super friendly staff and pricing from a decade ago. The house wine was good… and tasted even better after you saw how inexpensive it was.

My husband had the lasagna and raved over it. He loved how they didn’t overdo it with pasta… it was more meat & marinara than pasta. I had the chef’s special of red trout with a light lemon/wine sauce. It was all I could do to eat the trout after having an appetizer, soup & salad… so stuffed! Don’t skip on getting their soup… it is DELICIOUS! You can tell they take their time cooking it as the flavors are melded and intertwined to make your mouth salivating for the next spoonful.

My family and I were really hungry after a rough day of snowboarding and we saw this place online with great reviews and good preview of menu. When we got there we didn’t know we needed a reservation in advance but the waitresses talked it over and said they will work us in. The staff there was wonderful to us the whole time. The food was one of the best Italian foods we ever had! We agreed if we are ever in the area again this is a must place to eat!

We attended with 4 friends. Our server, Terri, was great. House wine nice, appetizers – stuffed mushrooms and artichokes fine. 3 had pork so much that was excellent – tender and moist. Desserts looked great but we were stuffed.
Highly recommended

My wife and I love this place. We’ve been multiple times and never disappointed. It’s a longer dinner than many places but quite good.

Entree’s are excellent. I’ve enjoyed every meal.

Chocolate Martini’s that they make are dangerous. Sneaky. Delicious.

Usually without drinks dinner is around 50ish. More with drinks of course.

Great place!

We live in the area and go there several times during the year. If the place ahs been one thing, it’s consistent, as in consistently great. Everything we’ve had is good and really don’t have a favorite. The wait staff is always on top of their game and will give you plenty of time to enjoy your meal.

And don’t forget to leave room for desert. We have stopped in late just for desert, it’s that good.

This was our third experience here, and each time the meals seemed to get better if that is even possible. Despite the fact that this was New Years eve and they were busy, our meal was outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection and the veal was extremely tender and delicious. The portions were just right, and the food servings were spaced perfectly by our server. Great Italian food and great service. Without a doubt, Chaffee county’s finest Italian restaurant. I am now a resident of Colorado, and I will be dining here as often as possible in the future.

Food is average and overpriced. The reason for 1 star is the rudest servers and employees ever. We were pretty much scolded for not having reservations. PLEASE!! There are 500 people in this town and the entire restaurant was empty. We saw 2 other couples be told the same thing and ended up waiting in their cars instead of eating inside. Again, the entire place was empty.
Lastly, a waitress gives my wife and kids lip and attitude for looking at the dessert tray which is for display purposes… Get over yourself and go somewhere else

Rude young man met us at the door, stating its be a wait. I told him we called ahead hours ago and reserved a table for 2. Then he tried to seat us next to the kitchen/bar which was very noisy. We asked for a window table, which he tried to argue against?! We sat there. Our waitress was wonderful, even though she was way overloaded with too many tables. Hire some additional wait staff, get rid of that rude kid with the glasses, and I’d give 4-5 stars, but as it was, it was barely worth it. Food is good, if you don’t mind the endless wait, and having to deal with rudeness.
