I ordered a Chicken Liver dinner. I got home ook 4 bites and put it in the trash. Number one, you don’t serve chicken livers with beef gravy. It was terrible. I couldn’t eat it. They are known for chicken not chicken livers. Never again!

Food is good, service is subpar at best definitely could use some lessons in being polite and nice to customers, prices have gotten outrageous. I won’t be returning after years of supporting them. Also, staff shut and locked the doors hours before they even closed, forcing people to use drive thru.

Had to try this chain since they switched it up from Richie’s. The chicken was good, but the coating is a little different, less crumbly crispy crunch and more flakey crispy crunchy if I remember correctly. The flavor was on point though. Same as I remember. The spicy was delicious as was the regular. I got 18 party wins which were teeny tiny and $18 for the meal with a tiny roll and a teeny tiny cup of yams and three potato wedges. Yams were delicious though, more mash than individual slices but good nonetheless! I will say the wings are much smaller than your standard wing, mayb 25% smaller, of course it depends on your supplier. I wouldn’t normally pay $21 for the meal for one that I just got especially at a to-go spot.
Customer service here was a little lacking. The front cashier lady seemed careless and inattentive. It seems like they were getting a lot of business at the time so I do understand how that is when you relax a bit and a customer comes in right before you get a chance to take a breath.
Good food and okay service, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price that they charge, I would mind paying if it was maybe even just $1 cheaper.

Now we can use just drive-through. We got many chickens. They were very crispy and juicy. My favorite is Breast! Breast is my No,1 Chicken. Wedges were very big,a little bit spicy for me.

I have craved a fish sandwich from Grimes for months. Yesterday I finally got to go get one. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was. I got their fish sandwich and wedges. I spent $10.60 on a meal that was terrible. The fish was a rectangle shaped piece of something, on a small flat bun, it wasn’t even wrapped and not hot. The wedges looked like they had been refried again and maybe again. Broke my heart.

Grimes is a family favourite for our get togethers. Have also introduced their chicken to church- now see and hear other folks looking forward to Grimes chicken, wedges, vegetables and the need to get cobblers.

I’ve gotten the fish dinner two times at grimes’s and they haven’t been fresh. The fish has been recooked. If people spend their earn money they should be able to enjoy the meal they paid for.

What happened to Grimes? Ordered there this evening and it was horrible. Chicken was tough, not juicy like it used to be. The meat on the wings was so tough I couldn’t eat them. The breading tasted stale and wasn’t crispy at all. The baked beans tasted more like syrup than what I used to get. Very disappointing.
