Tried the Margherita pizza, bruschetta and tiramisu at Grimaldi’s and it turned out to be a really good experience. The pizza was the star of the meal. Perfect crust, great flavor and honestly one of the better Margherita pizzas I’ve had in the area. The tiramisu was rich and creamy and tasted just right. The bruschetta was okay, nothing special but not bad either.
The staff were professional, attentive and made the visit smooth from start to finish. Overall, a solid spot for good pizza and dessert and definitely a place I’d come back to.

I downloaded their app to enjoy a free appetizer. Upon entering the aroma of pizza, hit my nose. Our server, Devyn, was very friendly, prompt, and informative. We ordered a salad and pizza. Both were served promptly. The salad was fresh and crisp. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The reason for deducting one star is that the pizza upset both of our stomachs afterward. It could be just us, though…

My favorite wood fired pizza by far. Full house on a Friday night, seated right away anyway. Waiters super busy but drinks came first and that keeps people happy. Tried the spicy diablo pizza which was harmless and very tasty. Great texture, fresh ingredients, good bar. The bartender had problems making my drink but between them and the waiter we got alternatives, free tastes and fine drinks in the end. Good people there!

Ordered a margarita pizza for delivery. I requested crispy and extra sauce. Pizza was yummy, but as you can see, it looks like they ran out of basil lol

I’m honestly a little torn writing this, because in my experience Grimaldi’s makes really great pizza — the kind that makes you forget you were annoyed five minutes ago. The crust is right, the bake is right, and when it’s hot and fresh it hits that classic NY-style spot.
But my takeout experience today was rough enough that I can’t rate it higher. And to be clear, this is just my personal experience and opinion from this one order.
I called to place a pickup order and the person who answered asked if I could be put on hold “for a minute.” No problem — that happens. I said sure and waited… and waited. After about 12 minutes on hold with no check-in (no quick “sorry, still here”), I hung up and called back.
A different person answered the second time. I told them — calmly — that I’d just been on hold for around 12 minutes. What threw me wasn’t only the wait, it was the reaction: no apology, and they laughed when I mentioned it. Maybe it struck them as funny, but from my side of the call it came off dismissive.
The annoying part is: the pizza is so good that I still went through with the pickup order anyway. And the food totally delivered — it really was excellent. If I was reviewing only the pizza, this would be a very different post.
But for me, restaurants are the whole experience. And in my opinion, being put on hold “for a minute” and basically disappearing for 12 minutes, then laughing about it with no “sorry about that,” is customer service that missed the basics. I don’t need a speech or a discount. A simple “Hey, sorry — thanks for calling back” would’ve changed the vibe completely.
It also reminded me of some of the best NYC pizza places from my time in New York: amazing pizza, chaotic service. The difference is, in NYC it’s almost part of the folklore. Here it just felt avoidable (and the restaurant wasn’t too busy, had about 37 people in it, about 1/3 full).
So, two stars — not because the pizza isn’t great (it is – at $50 for two medium pies it better be!), but because the service experience I had today was frustrating. If they tightened up the phones and front-of-house basics, I’d happily bump this up, because the product is absolutely there.

MY FAVORITE PIZZA RESTAURANT!! I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and I will keep going! If you want a pizza restaurant that is authentic but doesn’t inexpensive this is the place. I love the atmosphere it feel like I’m in New York! The service is amazing! Also a secret, if you ask the the person serving your table for some dough they will give it to you on this silver flat plate/ pizza pan. It’s great if you have kids just make sure they don’t eat it cause the dough smells amazing!!!! I really really recommend the Half White Garlic and Half Pesto Pizza. You will not regret it!!! I will keep coming back also make sure to sign up for rewards never because every year on your birthday you get a free pizza!!

We love Grimaldi’s we have made it a habit of going almost once a week since we started eating there. The funny part is that growing up in NY and eating pizza all the time I never heard of this place. Yes I know there are a million pizza places in NY but if your this good you’d think you’d know. While we don’t eat in most of the time the times we did the experience was good. Always greeted when we come in for take out and to dine in with the exception of one time picking up I had to say something to the girl at the bar. but over all never a problem. The pizzas are great and the calzone is good but its big and doesn’t really crisp up like the smaller ones from NY. That being said I wont stop getting them because the are made well and taste good. Def make some time and get a meal

Usually dine in, but first time ordering TO GO. NOT THE SAME. Paper thin, barely any cheese and sauce. Actually barely anything. All I can say is it’s a really sad graduation lunch

The best pizza and cheesecake spot ever!!! I ordered a bacon & black olive and half artichoke pizza. This was delicious! Then, I ordered a seasonal banana cream cheesecake. That was amazing!!! The only thing was it felt too cold in there with the AC. We will definitely come back here again.
