this place was really good. my favorite of the 3 bruschetta options was the pesto, followed closely by the original. the prosciutto pizza was really good (especially considering white pizzas are my favorite). i didn’t try the other pizzas but they looked good. warning: if you go between 2:30 and 3:30 (or around then), they might be replacing the coals aka you can only order things that won’t use the oven (salads, bruschetta, etc.). it was a nice environment and we got our food quickly, and you can see them making/thinning the pizza dough and throwing it into the oven. random but i noticed they get a lot of phone traffic. oh also: free refills on drinks.

Took a friend to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in Peoria for her birthday since she was craving pizza. The star of the night was our server, Jasmine—super attentive, friendly, and consistently on top of our needs. Drinks were strong and delicious, exactly what we were hoping for.

Where it fell short was the food pacing and the pizza itself. Our appetizer and pizza arrived at the same time, which made the meal feel rushed. We ordered The Don and expected bold, layered flavors; it had great presentation but was surprisingly flat and lacking seasoning. For a spot with such high ratings, it was disappointing.

Our total came out to just over $100 for three people, which felt a bit steep given the underwhelming pizza. We’d return for the service (Jasmine was fantastic) and the drinks, but we’d try a different pie or ask for extra seasoning next time. Hoping it was just an off night.

Would’ve given two stars due to the fact that this is our first bad pizza from Grimaldi’s at Park West. However, I’m writing this 10 minutes after pickup, and we live at one of the nearby properties.

I’m not sure if it was coincidence or quality control issues, but their take on a buffalo chicken pizza was a colossal failure. The pizza was wet, and sloshing around. Not sure as to why it was this horrendous, but the quality and the flavor was shame for over $30 and being promised at a certain time.

Do better. Your products aren’t cheap, so this was unacceptable.

We went to this place for the first time and totally enjoyed ourselves!! we ordered a small Caesar salad, which was big enough for two people. We also ordered a large Brooklyn pizza and added pepperoni. The atmosphere was great. Our server, who was the bartender, was great! And the salad and pizza were amazing! And the prices were reasonable. We will definitely go back.

We love this place! They have the best coal fired pizza! We started off with the Mediterranean Salad. The salad was great and the kids even went back for seconds on this salad. They had plenty of toppings but the kids only wanted pepperoni. Our server was also very pleasant!

Really disappointing experience.

The service completely ruined what should have been a nice meal out. Our waitress had a noticeable attitude from the start and seemed irritated anytime we asked for something.

We ordered a lemonade for my child and it never came. When I reminded her, she said they “don’t have lemonade” and didn’t bother to check or offer an alternative. A few minutes later, the table next to us was served lemonade. At that point, I had to walk up to the bar myself to order one.

It didn’t stop there — after waiting for refills and assistance, I again had to leave my table and go to the bar to get my own drink. That should never happen at a full-service restaurant.

We brought it to the manager’s attention, and there was little to no concern shown and no real attempt to make it right.

The food may be good, but the service was so poor that it overshadowed everything. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning

Life Journey
First time to patronize this restaurant. Placed an online order at 9:00 am for 4:00 pm pickup. Got there promptly at 4:00 for pick up. Hostess stated it would be about 10 to 15 minutes. After several more inquires, the pizza was finally ready at 4:45 pm. This pizza itself was burnt and tasted like cardboard. The website expects between 15% to 50% tip in advance. I tipped 15% during the online order as a gesture of pre-appreciation. That was a mistake. I was tempted to ask for a refund on the tip as they clearly did not earn it. Note to self; never tip in advance for taking orders. It’s clearly a wasted effort.

Note to business owner. Your revenue is being generated by location and location alone. The general manager is zero value added, a complete and total flop. Think about it. If you had an average general manager who knew how to run a business, you could easily double your revenues. The amount of ill will generated from this fiasco is detrimental to your business. I for one will never patronize your business again. It’s not worth the anguish and the food is clearly substandard. Take it for what it’s worth from an honest feedback.

I hadn’t been here in awhile since Covid, I came in and dined in. I asked them not to make my pizza until closer to when I was done I’d wait
The cooks must have spaced it poorly as I had just started eating , and it was put into pizza warmer
That made me feel rushed
So, I paid , but when I left I was still hungry
My first pizza was made really well
The one I brought home not so much more cheese and sauce the pepperoni/sausage.
The crust and flavors hands down are always 10/10 no disappointment!!!!
The waiter was excellent and all staff was friendly. They weren’t busy, so they didn’t need the table that I was at. The first pizza is much better than the other and I know it had black on bottom , but the crust is definitely more chewy than the one I had in the restaurant
I’ve had at the Gilbert location and it’s good there as well, I live in n phx so I think Scottsdale might be closer
I’ll come again, but I’ll skip the one pizza w/ meatballs since there was more space than meat
7/10

Omg! GREAT PIZZA!!! I don’t like pizza and I loved this pizza. The white sauce is a unique white sauce, not heavy and very tasty. We had great service, good food, and it wasn’t too loud, but not quiet either. I highly recommend this place for FANTASTIC thin crust pizza.

If I was leaving a review just for the food I’d definitely say 4/5, but the customer service and wait staff is so awful it hurts. We arrived early for lunch. While we were seated right away our server took quite a while to even come great us or take any drink orders. When he finally did we ordered what we thought was an antipasto salad. He just kept saying it’s an appetizer with no explanation until I said what is the difference. It’s bread lol no lettuce. My mistake for not reading more thoroughly. I just saw it was under salads etc. He was a bit condescending and we’d never been in before. We decided on another option which he said was similar to an antipasto salad but was not at all when arrived. It was lettuce, mushroom some olives and Italian dressing. Still good but not as described. We had also ordered a pizza. We waited why felt like forever before he came back and said our pizza still wasn’t done and it would be at-least another 20 minutes before done. When it finally arrived it looked and tasted amazing. We were legit starving at that point. By the time we got our pizza and finished we’d been in the restaurant well over two hours. No apologies for the insane wait time of lunch on a not busy day or anything. We should have just left after siting for so long and then being told to wait even longer for it to come out. I don’t think we’ll be back, According to other reviews it seems to be a regular thing here. Vibe was nice inside, but again with service so bad I don’t think we’ll return. Especially for the insane prices. I didn’t even get any pics because we were starving by the time our food came out.
