I want to start off by saying the food was excellent. However, our service was extremely disappointing.
1. Our server delivered 4 pizzas one at a time. Meanwhile I kept moving my empty glass out of the way. You’d think they notice that I needed a refill but it wasn’t until I had to get their attention to get a refill. But trust me this was far from the bad part.
2. We ordered the Duo pizza and noticed that it was missing one of the 2 sauces. I’m not sure if they put the tomato sauce under the pizza. But I can tell you if our server simply just looked at the pizza, he too would notice that we were missing the tomato sauce.
3. When ordering a cake (because it was my brother birthday) my father had asks to see if they had extra candles for us so we can sing him happy birthday. The serve said he’d check for us (and I highly doubt he forgot because there was a good 5 groups in the restaurant as a whole) he came back not only with the no candle but didn’t even say “sorry we don’t have candles”.
4. And my favorite part. We brought our own candles just in case they didn’t have / provided them. So we lit our cake slice and started to sing happy birthday. I mean come on. People around us noticed us singing but you’re telling me our server didn’t? Mid song he interrupts us to ask if we needed boxes. Like come on dude. And he stood there and joined but we couldn’t even enjoy the moment because after we finished singing, he asked us again if we needed boxes. I’m sorry can you get the hint and let us enjoy the moment?
5. Small note but why would you just serve our pizza to the come back and hand us a dessert menu right away? Not only is this lazy but it gives the impression that you either 1 don’t care about your table or 2 you want us out of here faster. In my sever years of working in restaurants. I can say that this was extremely hard to sit through due to the lack of heart behind his job.

Pizza is delicious but the staff make it unpleasant. All I did was ask for a side of ranch which they refused to bring me so after 15 minutes I got up and asked the host for one but instead of getting it for us he went over and asked the waitress across the room to get me one but she just looked over at us and glared and still refused. My daughter won’t eat pizza without ranch so I guess I can’t bring her here. They wouldn’t bring me the check either and never returned to our table when I wanted to order her a cheesecake dessert. the manager had to bring out our check and we just left. I’m sorry if I offended our waitress. I think it was because when she brought out our pizza I thought there was pepperoni on it by accident so I asked just to make sure there wasn’t a mistake. I didn’t mean to offend anyone. the pizza is so delicious and tastes like the pizza in New York so I would suggest ordering it so go. It’s very clean but based off service I don’t consider it good sit down place.

This is just truly excellent pizza. There are locations in las vegas.And I just tried this one in boise, and it all just offers the best pizza. The inside has a really fun vibe also… Brickwork and checkered tablecloths and wine bottle lighting make for a fun archetypal Italian restaurant experienc. There are families that are in there after their kids’ soccer games and there are dressed up couples on dates, and there is everything in between. Just a very cool hip place where anyone can be comfortable.No matter what they’re wearing

Grimaldi’s remains one of the top pizza chains in the country. I’ve been to quite a few stores and have visited this Boise location three times now, never been disappointed. Better than any other NY-style pizza I’ve tried in the last decade. Service is always great; Samantha did a great job at the bar. Very polite and professional.
Suggestion: try a red sauce pizza with spicy chicken sausage, onions, green peppers, and jalapenos. Life-changing stuff, you’ll never go back if you like it spicy!
Pro tip: They re-stoke their coal oven every day from 3-4pm (used to be 4-5pm) so you can’t get a pizza cooked during that time, but all other menu options are available.

It was ok. The pizza was fine, the crust was really tough. The sodas were so flat I couldn’t drink it. The service was great. She did get super busy and I thought the place could have used more servers. At a point she just got too busy to come back. We ended up sitting for quite some time to get the bill, boxes to leave. But not her fault.

Wow! The food was absolutely delicious!! The portions were very large. Tad sad they were out of a few things we wanted, however, they explained how everything was made fresh daily, so we understood. Or server, Brooks, was new but did a great job. We appreciated his attention to detail and making sure our orders and our checks were correct. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Bruschetta Trio appetizer, a custom calzone, and the Brooklyn Bridge Pizza. Mmmm! We took home a, piece of their seasonal Carmel Apple Cheesecake, and are looking forward to trying it later this evening. We will definitely be back!
