Food – Great. Service – Not so great.
Came here for dinner on a Saturday around 8pm. The host was not very friendly and was saying things to us really low while looking away from us. We needed to ask 3 times what was said because we could not hear her.
When we were seated, it took about 10 minutes for our server to come over and ask us if we wanted anything to drink.
The pizza took about 15-20 minutes to finally get to our table and we were not checked on once during that time.
When the food finally got to the table, we did not see our server for the rest of the time. We had to flag down another server to finally get the check.
I have been to other locations, like one in Vegas and had a much better experience.
I will not be back to this location unless I am ordering to go.

Parking was not good but if you love walking its a good thing, I’m guessing because it was close to the end of the day of closing our waitress wasn’t so pleasant nor friendly, neither was individual taking your number of people and info, the people made the atmosphere very uneasy but thank God I wasn’t there for them but if you carry your emotions on your shoulders or easily offended be prepared that’s why I dislike service and liked atmosphere, now the pizza which is all that we ordered I give that 5 stars, it was so good, fresh, perfect and it being my 1st time there the pizza was great. Would I go again probably not I would probably order to go or maybe go to a different location but since we were in San Antonio because my son is in the military and we were leaving him early morning next day this location was the closest.

This place is stupidly overpriced, one soft drink, a water a 15 inch pizza and tip/tax was $40. It’s $4 extra per meat topping and $2 extra per veggie topping. (You barely get any meat). The hostesses were standoffish and did not greet or speak unless spoken to. The blonde one didn’t even look up to acknowledge us, unless you have a reservation you’ll be sat at a shaky table with no cutlery or napkins. The atmosphere is very echoey inside and loud, the decor is generic and bland. The pizza is okay, nothing special. Would not recommend this place, save your time.

I can’t say enough about Grimaldi’s!!
Their thin brick oven pizza is truly magnificent; I’m a big fan of the perfectly crisp, slightly charred crust. Honestly, everything on their menu is a winner, but my go-to is always building a custom pizza. It’s the best way to get all your favorite toppings!

This is a nice popular upscale pizza restaurant in The Quarry. There was limited street parking, but the 1st floor in the parking garages had plenty of free parking.
The pizzas with gluten-free cauliflower crust were really good, and the calzone was amazing. We ordered the create-your-own versions, and each topping was $2-$4, so the cost can add up quickly.
There was a 45 minute wait on a Sunday at noon, so we sat right away at the large bar. The service was prompt and the meal was great, it’s just a little pricey for a Sunday lunch with the family.

Let me start off by saying the food was absolutely delicious, only took about 2 hours to come from the kitchen BUT very good at the very least. The service was horrible, I’d probably only go back for pick-up orders. The pizza was so good and fresh, we got the four cheese and the Margherita pizza, both devine. We also had the Mediterranean salad, mmm once again, delicious. I absolutely love Grimaldi’s food but it would be nice if the bread came with oil and herbs like other Italian restaurants and it would be AMAZING if the service was good I’ll be back for a to-go order!!!! Also, pretty pricey for horrible service (it was a group of 4 of us at 7pm, Friday night, was there not enough staff? Idk)

I’ve been to NYC several times! I promise you this is some of the best NYC pizzas and pizza in general you can find out there! Atmosphere really makes you feel like I’m back in NYC and the servers are super nice! Food is always made fresh and it’s made to order so you’ll have to wait a bit but it’s well worth it!

Came to this location for my birthday, bad mistake. Nicole the bartender was rude and short. When she asked for drinks, I ordered a wine bottle and bread to start she said things like “You gotta pay for the bread!.” *while rolling her eyes.* then she came back and said “Give me your large plates since you’re not ordering any food.”
I never said I WASN’T GOING TO ORDER FOOD and SHE NEVER ASKED EITHER! I ordered a Don THEN the pizza comes charred on the outside and raw on the inside a miracle to modern science! I only ate the peperonis. Nicole then picked up our charred pizza (pic below) and we saw her laughing with the long haired mgr while making it obvious pointing at us only 4 other customers in the restaurant. It was pretty rude and obvious. Nicole then said we could put you on a customer escalation wait list.
I said no. The mgr then came up and apologized and offered a free togo pizza. However, I saw them laughing, pointing at us, being unprofessional etc. I don’t want your pizza! I have a nasty charred taste down my throat just from eating only the pepperoni. Disgusting place with hood service. I have been spoiled by my neighborhood TPC location. The smell alone from the charred pizza is still stuck in our brain! Nicole and the mgr need get over themselves! So conceded and stuck up while making customers uncomfortable! I’ve eaten Grimaldis in 9 states and this was by the worst!
Happy Birthday to me!
