We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was our 1st time here and our server (Ryan) was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He walked us through the menu without rushing and even gave us recommendations.
We started off with a Mediterranean salad, then ordered 2 small pizzas. 1 custom with Pesto base and the other one was “The Don” both of them were magnificent! We finished off with the trio dessert and overall all employees were friendly and provided us with excellent service!
We are definitely coming back!! 5 stars here

We came here as a group and overall it was just okay. The pizza was filling and had good flavor, but it was pretty greasy and the toppings were uneven, so some slices were better than others. The Greek salad was large enough to share, though the feta was a bit too much and the greens didn’t feel very fresh. It’s a decent place to grab food with friends when you’re nearby, but nothing about it really stood

The pizza at Grimaldi’s is excellent—easily some of the best I’ve had. However, the experience at this location was disappointing. I arrived at 10:05 PM, and even though they close at 11:00 PM, they were already deep cleaning everything around us. It completely ruined the atmosphere; it felt like we were being rushed out. I don’t understand why they start closing up so early when there’s still an hour left. The food is a 10/10, but the service and vibe during that last hour are lacking

I normally don’t eat New York style pizza. The only thing I can think of negative is the bruschetta was served cold and my wife said that the regular side of the pizza lacked flavor.

The food was good, and the atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. We ordered two 12-inch pizzas and a Caprese appetizer, with a total bill of $70 plus the tip. The restaurant’s décor is truly unique, I loved the creative touch of light bulbs inside wine bottles.

One of the best Italian places in the area. The thin crust pizza is one of the best I ever tried. Their salads and the service is also great. Pizza is prepared in an old fashioned fire oven, which gives the best flavor. The place is nice and quiet to have a great meal.

I visited today for lunch, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, the host informed us that pizza was unavailable because they were cleaning the oven. We said it was okay and we decided to stay and sat at the bar instead.
We ordered drinks, appetizers, and a salad, but the server barely paid attention to us throughout our visit. The salad never arrived while we were dining, and only after I asked for the check did they bring it out in a to-go box, which was very frustrating.
The drinks took a very long time as well because the servers and bartenders were just standing in a circle talking.
I was on my break so my time was limited and I didn’t even get to enjoy my food or drinks.
The service was extremely poor and inattentive. If I could give the bartenders a zero rating, I would.

I have visited this location about 4-5 times since moving to Katy. Service is EXTREMELY SLOW. I mean, it’s really bad. Their menu is salads and pizza so that backs up the entire kitchen because it is only pumping out pizzas which take time. If they had actual appetizers (like meatballs, wings), people wouldn’t mind waiting but it is honestly ridiculous. The servers are not great either. They are all nice but they do their jobs poorly. I have a soft spot for industry workers as someone who worked at a restaurant for 10 years. They forget things, they don’t check in on tables or clean up throughout. This is a huge red flag for me. Our last visit, 11/29/25, we were sat at a table that was being taken care of by a bartender. I don’t mind this at all but she clearly could not handle all of this. I asked about happy hour and she said it started at 5 pm and so I double checked because the menu says 3-5 pm… she then corrected herself. Our drinks took forever, our salad never came, pretty sure she didn’t ring it in, and then the calzone we ordered was genuinely terrible (the sauce was even cold). That last part is on the kitchen but it was just bad. Pizzas were good. Drinks were inconsistent. I ordered the same margarita twice and they were completely different even in color. I also didn’t like that I didn’t see an itemized receipt when I went to pay. She just told me a total and I asked if she removed the salad we didn’t get and she had forgotten to (of course). All of this leaves a bad taste in my mouth which sucks because the pizza itself is good. This location needs to re train their entire staff. Please do not leave me one of your generic apologetic messages.

Signed in with a 25 minute wait for an outside table on a Friday evening. Wait time for our table was more like 15. Which was great. Except once we got to our table we waited at least 20 minutes without any interactions with any other staff. Had to stop someone ask if we could speak to a server was told she would grab her at once. Waited another 10 minutes ended up having to go to the hostess stand to ask for help. Apparently our server “didn’t see us”. But cue Meg! She jumped right in. Took amazing care of us. Made sure everything was perfect. Meg even brought out our pizza to make sure it was cooked properly (well done) before having it cut. Every last bite was exceptional. Meg single handedly turned our experience around. Thank you Meg and Tyler.

They don’t seal their pizzas when you order delivery. That’s very unsafe and unsanitary. Going to the trash and I will not order again.
Also let me add that if you want to add extra pepperoni when ordering online you can’t. Online doesn’t have an option of extra pepperoni, so I order bacon and then call and get them to change the bacon to extra pepperoni. Sometimes they understand right away and no problem(today) and other times it takes a while to get them to understand the deal.
