Fantastic food, service, and environment!
I’ve visited many bbq joints around central Indiana, this one is by far worth the stop! Today I stopped in for the first time and I will definitely be back! Dine in or carry out, they go above and beyond! They do not disappoint!

I am new to town & found this gem tucked away behind Weenie World. Normally I can eat a whole rack of ribs to myself but this place turned me into a HalfRackBaby. Generous portions! The sweet & the spicy BBQ are top tier. the Mac N Cheese=Cheffs kiss! Not that Bob Evans canned mush. Can’t wait to go back to try the brisket! Thank you for bringing that Authentic BBQ Soul to the area!

The food here is awesome. Served just like how you want bbq. Sauced heavy and super flavorful. The ladies at the front are amazing. They are burst of life and seem happy to be serving you their great food. Loved interacting with them. Rib tips were unreal. Great sweet tea as well!

Great spot with outstanding food. The meats are great and perfectly Smokey. This restaurant has a great take on sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, almost like a glaze. I tried the brisket and ribs, along with sides like fries, Mac n cheese, green beans, and the baked beans. The sides could be better, but the staff and service were extremely polite and helpful. They offered free samples of the food and were Very prompt with service.
Grill’t is a hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall barbecue joint. Definitely the best BBQ I’ve had in Indiana.

Let me tell you. To start, they are an extremely welcoming family. They are so warm and bubbly. It was great to get to know them a bit. Next, their food is great! And that is an understatement. Their sauce has a deep tangy flavor with a nice sweetness. Their Mac is creamy and pairs very nicely with the sauce, should any fall in on “accident” ;). And their baked beans were absolutely incredible! I’m from Texas and MAN they pair up and surpass some baked beans I’ve had there. Finally, they care. They deeply care about the food they put out, their service, and the people they meet. What a warm and loving place to eat some good barbecue.

This place is honestly the best place in new castle and in my opinion should be way more popular than they already are! The service, the atmosphere, and the people that work here are absolutely amazing! Super welcoming when you walk in the door as if you’re apart of their family! Super well ran and not only that. The food…. Take a trip to grillt and save the trip to Texas. They have what you’re looking for!

Was our first time here and was greeted by the owner who offered some samples before we purchased to make sure we would be satisfied along with amazing hospitality! Everything we tried was very good, with the green beans being our favorite, the pulled hog was very tender and the brisket was very good, along with the sauce . Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some fantastic bbq and top notch sides! We will be returning in the future!

I want to recognize Anthony and the staff at grill’t today (really every day)! I sent them a message on Facebook Messenger a few weeks ago asking if they ever opened up earlier than the normal hours for people. I explained to them that our oldest son was graduating from Ivy Tech on May 10th and the ceremony was going to be held at the New Castle field house. We wanted to celebrate Saijin with grill’ts great barbecue and they were more than happy to oblige. We was able to reserve the entire restaurant for a private event and not only that, we were able to request a certain side that’s not always available (Saijin’s favorite…Spuds) and Anthony even gifted Saijin a gift card to come back again! They have AMAZING food and even better service and they deserve to be recognized. Please go try their food if you’ve never been. You won’t be disappointed!
Today (March 29th, 2025) we picked up a preorder of Grill’t’s catered food! We ordered some pork belly burnt ends, green beans, collard greens, and the cheesy spuds. Anthony made EVERYTHING well above our expectations. If you like barbecue, go to Grill’t and check them out. They make delicious food and they are the friendliest people.
Grill’t has AMAZING food and the staff is so nice and friendly. We definitely recommend eating there. We tried the fried pickles for the first time today and they were delicious. Debbie definitely makes them the best. Look at that breading!

6 under cooked ribs less than 2 ounces of meat 10 dollars for under cooked fries 2 water down coke 1 good chicken sandwich small plastic forks no change at checkout floors and. Entry rug covered with dirt tried to over charge 10 dollars on meal still cost 41 dollars never again happy birthday to me no stars
