It was first time in that place and last one. I just couldn’t eat that. It was so so so salty that I literally couldn’t eat more than one bite, my husband said the same that it was to salty! It was over $30 for 2 burgers and I was so disappointed that I couldn’t eat!!! One thing I can tell I appreciate they could change my burger for another one when I asked for.

This place was hard to find, but worth the drive. It really and truly is a neighborhood secret. It does look like a “shack” where they make burgers to your preference. The dinning is outside where you can enjoy nature. If eating outside is not your thing thats fine you can take your order to go. The burgers were good but the real experience was the fries. The fries looked like they sliced 4 huge potatoes and fried them to perfection. The wedges were so big and seasoned just right. I have never seen such big fries where the amount is outta the ballpark. Definitely will have delicious left overs after the meal has been enjoyed. There was a wait for our food but that was simply because they were cooking for a lot of people so that is to be expected. You can order your food in advance and just pick it up if waiting there isn’t your thing, I like that convenience. So if you’re up for a adventure and like secret finds this is the place for you.

Super burger spot! Nice, simple covered area to sit and eat what is one of the best burgers I’ve tried for ages. Fries are hand cut and dead crispy, burger is dead tasty, and whilst I’m still not sure about serving the salad garnishes separately, it does make some sort of sense! Bun was great too. Had some wings and they were ace too. All round a sound stop off.

Small little place in the middle of nowhere. Very simple outdoor layout. The food was amazing. You definitely don’t go for the decorations. The best burger I have ever had and the fries where nice and thick. Great portion super, friendly person taking your orders. My wife and I talked about the food for the rest of the week afterwards. Would definitely recommend and would go back. I am a fan. Just don’t expect this great atmosphere. The food is where it’s at! The do separate your condiments from your burger and buns which isn’t a big deal. I think it’s so it doesn’t get soggy or you just put what you want and what you don’t want.

This is the second time I have been here, and I had the woman taking my order “surprise me,” and she did just that. I ended up with a patty melt, and it was the beat damn one I’ve ever had. Also, can we talk about the fries! As weird as this sounds, I don’t like thick fries that taste like potatoes, but these… these fries are not that. They are thick and once again the best damn fries I’ve ever had! This place lives up to its name “fries and burgers(even patty melts).” Those are the two best things this place has! We will make this a stop anytime we are in the Nashville area!

First impression was the smile from the gentleman taking our order. He answered our questions and was quick when my son changed his order. Great made to order local grass fed beef burgers. They also offer vegetarian options!! This grill-shack offers a simple menu! About 10$ per burger!! Outside dining option! No indoor option! If you don’t mind eating outside this burger was pretty darn good!!! Family enjoyed the food!!! As another reviewer mentioned, you blink you will miss it!!

Great Moms and Pops Burger Joint. This place offers tasty fresh burgers and fries. Their service is excellent, the wait time is fairly quick and portion size for what you pay is more than fair. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and want a good burger that is not greasy. FYI this place is only open till 8pm.

The Grillshack has hands-down one of the BEST veggie burgers I’ve ever had!! They are handmade & seasoned to perfection. And then, there’s the fries- hand-cut, cooked to order, crispy, golden brown bites of complete awesomeness. This is comfort food at it’s absolute best!! Each item is cooked to order so, when it’s busy- expect to wait a few minutes but, it’s totally worth the wait!!

I had spent early part of the afternoon at coffee shop and knew I was headed to hike for a few hours so I wanted to get some good, and hopefully not super expensive, food that afternoon. I read a couple of reviews and saw a lot of really good things about Grillshack. I’m not normally big burger guy but something about the idea of a place that just does one burger and fries really well intrigued me so that’s where I landed.
It is super low-key; it’s basically a small building with a to go window a few picnic tables outside under a covered awning and that’s it. They serve a few different items but really they basically have one thing. The grillshack burger and fries. It’s what every single person got while I was there and it’s what they recommend. So clearly that’s what I got. It’s an incredibly simple burger with toppings kind of on the side, lettuce tomato pickles, and their fries are home cut and absolutely delicious.
There’s really not a ton to say about grillshack except I would absolutely come here anytime I wanted a burger. It’s almost like someone took the “fast food burger” and then made it delicious but still kept it at a somewhat reasonable price. I definitely recommend people go, and I could see myself going again when I’m back in Nashville.
