It was busy the night we visited but luckily we were seated promptly. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We started with oysters which were very fresh but a bit small for the price. I had the prime rib which was delicious. I had never had a prime rib finished on the grill but it was seasoned well and tender. My father had the prime rib sandwich and he enjoyed it very much. My brother had the ribeye and he enjoyed that as well. I tasted his steak and thought it was a little tough but perhaps that was due the temperature he requested. We finished our meal with a key lime tart and a gingersnap cheesecake. I thought the key lime tart was a touch bitter but the gingersnap cheesecake was delicious and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like cheesecake very much.
The prices are a bit steep but this place has a great ambiance, the service was excellent, and the food was enjoyed by all. So I’d definitely recommend trying it out.

We had a fantastic going away dinner here! The crab dip was delicious, the mixed drinks with Martinis and Sangria were delicious. Don’t miss out on the loaded baked potato soup! We had the burger, warm goat cheese salad, steak and tortellini. We were all really happy with our dishes. Our server was Jess and she was very attentive. We sat out on the porch and it was just perfect. Highly recommend for a celebration or nice date night!

If all you care is the price don’t read this review. So I had a special needs employee with me that was hungry, wanted a steak. I brought him. They can’t differentiate between medium rare and medium well. I’m so happy the staff was flexible and understanding took the steak back twice so he won’t have to see the pink coloring. We are lower class working people we were not presentable to come in a restaurant like this. We love that we were treated with respect. And yes I used to work at a butcher shop these are USDA Prime Cuts!!!!…. I was hesitant at first when I saw the pricing. It does make up for it the biodegradable soap. The bamboo paper to dry your hands. The cleanest restrooms you will ever see. The bartenders making it happen!! The kitchen staff syncing with the hostess and the bartender to get it right like Bluetooth!! When you have a little team of Avengers like that it feels great!

Right then and there . And if you know that American cheese is the lowest Quality Cheese… potatoes were very soft. The corn was delicious it’s about the in between the street corn and buttered so I know it takes time to make this type of quality. I had the Kona steaks… medium well.. yes I enjoyed spending my money there hands down I like that I just didn’t know where to park so I parked at the comic book store and yes I almost got towed!! not from the city sorry. Yes I do recommend this place make a reservation if you can when they’re busy..

I recently visited GrillMarX Steakhouse & Raw Bar in Falls Church and had a great experience. The place was quiet at the time is much larger than I expected — it spans two levels and features a nice bar. I will definitely be trying out their happy hour and enjoying the TV setup. The service was friendly and attentive. No complaints.
For our meal we got the BBQ burger and a boneless ribeye. The burger was flavorful with a good char. I really liked the fries. A bit different from the usual steakhouse fsire. My son opted for the ribeye and he absolutely loved it — cooked just right and nicely seasoned. Overall a solid place for a casual yet upscale steakhouse outing that convenient to Falls Church.

Went to Grill Marx Falls Church for 1st time. We live in the Apartments across the street so we walked which was great.
Atmosphere – modern and fresh
Service – welcoming and quickly dealt with issues
FOOD – GOOD food but the steak is pricy. My wife tried the filet and it was very good ($64).
I had the salmon (30$) which was also very good. Some of the sides were amazing (sweet potatoes, asparagus, creamed spinach). Dessert was key lime pie and it was tasty.

The perfect place if you’re looking for fresh oysters and great service! When my boyfriend and I first arrived we were greeted by a very friendly host who led us to our table. After talking to our server, Carlos, we discovered that the Happy Hour was only offered at the bar. Carlos was extremely accommodating and led us over to the bar where we were introduced to Tony, the bartender. Throughout the entire dinner, both gentlemen were accommodating and extremely kind. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top notch. ALSO, the seasonal cheesecake, a mixed berry cheesecake, was AMAZING! You can tell when restaurants sell store bought cheesecake, and this restaurant DOES NOT! Whenever we are back in Falls Church we will be coming here again!!

– The star of the show – The Kona Ribeye … It was truly one of the best steaks I have ever had. Cooked to perfection.
– The interior design … I am an Oyster connoisseur – so I was very pleased to see the Oyster art detail on the walls complimenting the overall ambiance of the establishment. I had to take a picture of the art to share with some colleagues.
– The service was helpful and patient… our server made great suggestions without the overall feeling of being pushed/upsold in any one particular direction
– Lastly, an individual who I presume was the manager, Joey I believe was his name, was very friendly and made sure everything was to our liking.

This place is amazing. I’ve been a few times now and have loved everything I’ve tried. One visit was a lovely three-course dinner, and another was during happy hour to catch a game at the bar—great experience both times.
A few favorites: I’m obsessed with the seafood tower. It has everything I want, nothing I don’t, and it’s priced just right. The hot wings were perfectly spicy, and whatever they put in their homemade blue cheese dressing… I could’ve drank it.
Will definitely be back to try more.
