We tried Grill on 5 for the first time this morning. My daughter and I love trying new breakfast restaurants and Grill on 5 is definitely going to be one of our go to breakfast spots. We where warmly greeted when we walked in. Our server came to our table right away and took our coffee order the owner stopped by our table and told us all about the breakfast specials, all sounded delicious. I ordered the summer squash boat breakfast special that was absolutely delicious and my daughter had one of the breakfast casseroles she enjoyed her’s but she felt like the homefries should have been cooked longer Next time we will ask for them to be cooked well done.
Overall we really liked this restaurant it was clean, friendly, with delicious food at a great price point I highly recommend it.

I’M Back!!!Food was great, service was great, place very clean modern, not pricey. Good location.. I was pleased!! I’m back again this place is great! this time instead of eggs I tried the short stack with blueberries and walnuts. This was a great choice, I must thank The waitress for suggesting those delicious pancakes. As usual service is great. I must say this place is doing a great job at social distancing, mask’s worn, hand sanitizer. I drive by this breakfast spot all the time and always say next time I want breakfast I’ll come here. Today was that day, a really great breakfast spot here in Smithfield. If you ever have the chance come check this spot out. Delicious breakfast and a friendly staff. Breakfast was really good, asked for crispy bacon and got it.

What a delight! We stumbled upon this gem of a place and were pleasantly surprised. Firstly, the staff is super friendly and attentive. I had the best Irish Benedict of my life! Thanks My fiance has a delicious Turkey club which was perfectly made. Everything was on point! Priced very reasonable. Can’t wait to come back

If you are looking for quality food served hot, don’t bother with this restaurant. First time there breakfast was cold, coffee was average, waitstaff was only attentive when we were ready to pay the check. The owners will probably respond to this, but given others have had a similar experience months ago, their response is all they will do, rather than make improvements. Place appears busy on the outside but that obviously does not reflect quality on the inside. Was looking forward to trying this place and it was a disappointment. Recommend you save your cash.

Gave this place a second chance after having a mediocre experience for our first visit…SHAME ON US… it was worse than that first time! Waited almost 50 minutes for a breakfast for 2 people and the restaurant was not even full. On top of that, the home fries were so under cooked that the potatoes tasted raw, our food was cold and the corned beef hash was mushy and full of fat. We didn’t bother mentioning any of this to the waitress because she never came back to the table after dropping our food. Seeing that we had to wait so long, we even asked for our check before the food came out. The manager/owner, wait staff and cooks were very disorganized and frantic. Cooks constantly yelling and the wait staff did not seem to know what was going on. We weren’t the only ones experiencing issues either. The poor table next to us was celebrating Father’s Day and every one of their meals came out wrong. Seems like this place still hasn’t been able to work out the kinks and I don’t think they ever will. Save yourself the unnecessary wait times and the bad experience, just go somewhere else!

Julie and her team has done a tremendous job, since they opened last August. It is a great experience having breakfast at this restaurant. You are always greeted with a smile, and when you leave, they thank you for coming in to eat. Keep up the great work!

Amazing service and amazing food. My club sandwich was the best Ive had in a long time and my fries crunched with every bite. My husbands onion rings were his favorite ever and his steak sandwich was huge. Staff was so friendly will definitely be back!

Food was amazing. Their hollandaise is to die for. So good a breakfast I got take out to bring with me for lunch. The burger with avocado was heavenly perfection. The staff was so helpful and friendly that I didn’t even mind when they were out of one ingredient for my first choice. I’ll definitely go back!
