The service was extremely good and friendly. I really liked the bacon cheeseburger. Just the way I like it with no frills, just meat and ham and cheese. The carrot cake also tasted good. There are plenty of beers to choose from. And the cocktails also had a good taste. We were satisfied today.

Wonderful Restaurant. Grille 44 is an exceptional place. Beautiful people. There is so much warmth and vibrancy here. I had the most amazing dinner her with friends. I cannot wait to return. The Perch dinner is excellent. The red mashed garlic potatoes are fabulous. Everything was so clean and fresh. The Cole Slaw was home made. The Club Sandwich and Burgers looked fantastic. Bear Lake is extraordinary. I love the area. I got to visit my family Homestead. Bear Lake has something no place else has…..silence. It’s the only quiet place I have ever been. No noise. No bugs. It is priceless. This restaurant is well managed. Everything is very clean. The food is delicious. Welcome to Bear Lake Grille 44

Small town kinda food place. Nothing too special. Pizza is pretty good. Atmosphere is cute, but you usually have to pay to have music playing which is kinda annoying. Service is decent. Salads are less than premium. It gets the job done in a pinch. Not many options in the area.

This is an awesome place. It is very clean. The staff is great, food is good. We tried a variety of items and all were tasty. Cauliflower crust pizza, Cauliflower appetizer, oreo shakes, sweet patatoe fries, pulled pork Mac, and the bacon jam burger. They have a large selection of beer also.

Stopped here on our last Ski day visiting Crystal Mountain for dinner. We all 6 got different dishes and all were so delicious, and the service was amazing and welcoming! Unlike the staff at Crystal Mountain! Very happy with this place, wish it was closer to home, would come all the time.

The food was fabulous. You have to try the duck tenders. Unbelievably good. Had the equator burger cooked medium. Had cream cheese and bbq sauce. I loved it. My wife had the French dip and said it was awesome. We split a bowl of chili and it was good also. Would definitely return. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a really nice place to grab a bite! What truly sets it apart is the fantastic outdoor area—I especially loved the cozy lights that create such a great atmosphere. The best part is the location: if you eat a little too much (which is easy to do!), you can take a beautiful stroll by the lake afterward. It’s the perfect way to finish the meal. I would absolutely come back for the setting alone!

Great local venue in Bear Lake, Michigan between Benzonia/Frankfort area, and Manistee. Not very busy for a Saturday night. Still a good crowd, of families and couples. Bar area was full. Friday fish fry. Next to the gas station/deli. Great service from our bar tender Mel, and good conversation. Kept our drinks up. Nice atmosphere!!! Will definitely go there again.

Arrived for lunch at 11:55 a.m. Poor waitress was working all alone trying to keep up. She didn’t get to take our order until 12:25 p.m. I left her a good tip because she was doing the best she could but it certainly didn’t endear me to the place at all. Maybe it should be the owner that makes $4/hour + tips & not the waitress.
