Just realize that this is a country grill. And then you’ll be OK. Don’t expect restaurant food or anything on the side of healthy. Though they do have eggs and vegetables omelettes. But the Frisco burger I had and the double burger, my wife had were very greasy, the bread was greasy the meat was greasy. My wife says her meat was over cooked and nothing special. We didn’t expect anything special, but it was a little too greasy for our liking. Not much mushroom or cheese on the double mushroom melt and over cooked. Not much else on the Frisco burger, but burger. Thought the bread and onion rings were good, but greasy.

We needed a quick lunch while traveling with kids. Service was friendly and fast. Food was very good country cooking. Prices were reasonable. $36. for four. Children Loved the pancakes . My mashed potatoes and gravy were perfection. Collards were just the way I like them (not too vinegary) and a large serving. Cornbread and rolls were sweet. They got everything right. Why mess it up with ” buttery spread”!?!?!.

Absolutely delicious breakfast. This is some of the best gravy I’ve had out from a restaurant and the biscuits are SO good! Clearly homemade and tasty. Bacon was great, eggs were great, pancakes were great. Gotta give this place a try if you’re in the area!

My first visit to this utopia of a country-like/patriotic/home cooking restaurant. At first glance on the outside, it looks perhaps like another business that’s taken over an abandoned building as another start-up restaurant. But once you see the parking lot packed to capacity and a waiting line for breakfast, you know you’ve stumbled into something great. And you’d be correct; this restaurant is like a slice of mom’s apple pie. First of all, the place is kept impeccably clean, just like mom would keep hers. The food is delicious, the portions abundant. My server was Julia and if all the servers are as sweet and caring (and I believe you’ll find they are based on the communications I witnessed among them all), you will experience some of the best service you’ve seen in a long time. Before I could even think about what I needed next, Julia was there already with it at my table. It was my first but most definitely not my last visit. In fact if I lived in Mebane, I’d eat there three times a day. It’s that good. Happy eating!

Just a wonderful place to have breakfast at! We were greeted, seated, and served before we knew it. The prices were good, the service was better, and the food was in generous proportions. This is the kind of family run restaurants that we prefer most. Not fancy mind you, but we don’t need fancy. Excellent works much better for us and this place was excellent. We were in town for work and found this place 3 days before our project ended. We ate here 3 days in a row. The food was amazing. Our waitress, and I can’t remember her name but she had been there for like 15 years, she was fantastic. Actually all of the staff were great. Definitely stop in and see them!
