I am always looking for new places to eat and I’ve been wanting to try more Jamaican places. Let me just say Dex is the nicest guy and very proud of his food and it did not disappoint. I decided on the brown chicken stew (awesome) and Dex wanted me to try his jerk chicken… so glad I did, it was delicious and so was the sauce. So I got a dish of jerk chicken too! Then I decided to get a beef patty to eat on ride home and it was crazy good. Definitely stop by and see Dex if you’re driving by, you won’t be disappointed!
Update: I took my 18 year old son for his first Jamaican food… he had the Jerk chicken and beef patty and he said it may be his new favorite food! Dex’s Jerk chicken is my favorite!

The owner was incredibly generous . Offered free samples of the food and kindly explained the differences between the way he flavors/ prepares his recipes compared to others. The food had large servings and tasted amazing. I got the large curry and it’s enough food for 2-3 meals

Went here for the first time today during an unexpectedly long lunch break, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the oxtail (medium) and his homemade carrot/sorrel juice. The portions were GENEROUS, and the oxtail was fall off the bone delicious! His truck is super close to the office so I’m definitely coming here again.

Thanks for making my Sunday! Now, I’ve had a lot of jerk chicken, including the real stuff in Jamaica. This was absolutely amazing and exceeded all other places I’ve tried here in the USA. The rice & peas, patties and samples were also delicious. Generous owner and super nice. It brought me back to such happy memories from times on the island.
