We ate at the bar and will do so Everytime. We loved the two bartenders. Great service, great drinks! The fries are really good. The burgers are smash style, but even so, our patties were slightly overdone. I will certainly be back again. I can’t wait to try a boozy milkshake here! It was a busy night, but food came out fast and it didn’t get too loud.

Grill Marks us a cute restaurant in Greenville which is great for people watching. They are known for their smash burgers and ice cream. I was there at 4:00pm & only 1/4 of the tables were occupied. It took 45-60 minutes for the food to arrive. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, but I had to search to find a tiny piece of bacon that was only on one small section of the burger. Needless to say I was disappointed and probably will not eat there again. I saw several patrons complaining to the manager. If they know it’s going to take an hour for food to arrive, they should at least give you a heads up.

I had such a great experience at Grill Marks in Greenville! As someone with a gluten allergy, eating out can be stressful, but the staff here was incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring. They took the time to explain options, double-check ingredients, and made me feel completely comfortable and safe with my meal.
The food was absolutely amazing ,fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they care about quality.
And I have to give a special shoutout to That Guy Tony for the outstanding service! He was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that nails both food and service, but they truly did.

My husband and i both really liked our burgers. I had the Hawaiian one and really enjoyed it. Though, it was made wrong… I asked for the Jalapeño Pesto on the side, cause i wasnt sure how spicy it was. They put it on burger, i was hungry so i tried it b4 just sending back, ended up being ok. We agreed, we didn’t like a side wasnt included with the pircing of $14 avg per burger. The sides where $3-8 additonal. We got 1 fry to share they definitely were not fresh, rather floppy..The location area is really nice! In heart of downtown! However, the explicit rap music choice, wasn’t so nice. The metal chairs where quite uncomfortable, made it tough to want to linger. The server did the bear minimum and wasn’t very outgoing, or that friendly. Sort of nonchalant. We ordered dessert, decided on a Double Fudge Crack Brownie shake, as they call it. $11 . It was essentially an 8 oz vanilla shake with a brownie put on glass w/ whipped cream. The shake had no brownie mixed in and no chocolate in it, just t touch of chocolate on the glass. The plate had chocolate drizzle and brownie crumbled on it with whipped cream as well, kind of confused me. I was an ok brownie and vanilla shake i just was let down, I thought I was getting like a epic short of mason jar style shake …

All and all it was good not great overall experience. Nothing totally awful. Nothing totally memorable.

Did snap pic of shake and menue!

Grill Marks – A Must-Visit for Burger and Dessert Lovers!

If you’re looking for a place that delivers on flavor, fun, and fantastic food, Grill Marks is it! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and upbeat — the kind of spot where you know you’re in for something good. The burgers are absolutely incredible; juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with bold flavors. And just when you think it can’t get any better — enter the desserts that will satisfy any sweet tooth. They’re as fun to look at as they are to eat! Great service, a fun vibe, and food that consistently hits the mark — Grill Marks is more than just a meal, it’s an experience. Highly recommend to anyone craving a seriously good burger and a sweet ending! Plus, the kids meal comes on a plate that’s a frisbee that you can take home!

Good food, slooooow service. Walked in on a Monday at 1pm. Stood at the hostess stand for 15 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Two other parties waiting behind me left during that time. Since nobody ever came out I just sat at the bar. Ordered a burger and fries. It took over 45 minutes to get my food. I was starting to wonder if it was ever put in. The food is really good. I may come back but I will allow for a longer time than normal. They either need better management or more staffing.

My son and I came here during the storm. They had a limited menu but was very accommodating. We walked in and were greeted by Christine. She was absolutely amazing! Her personality is what every restaurant needs! We even had a friendly debate with my son about him not saving his drinks during the storm! I will definitely be going back just to visit her! if you want good food, good drinks and a good vibe go see Christina!

Really frustrated with our visit this afternoon. We arrived at 1:30. They were busy but the crowd was pretty much on the way out. It took about 5 minutes to be seated, but we were given no menus or silverware. The waiters were audibly arguing over who would serve our table. Mind you, myself and a friend and our tween daughters, so 4 people. We weren’t demanding. We were patient. I finally got up and got menus myself. Still, after 20 minutes we had not even gotten our drink orders. The waitress’ name started with a K. She was extremely rude. After more than an hour and not receiving our food, we asked for it to go as we had not expected the wait. The food was brought out in plastic containers while we were waiting by the door. Soggy fries, soggy bread, under cooked meat. Also, my friend paid for her appetizer and never received it but we were so ready to go at that point that we didn’t argue about it in the moment. What’s worse is there was a group of people sat next to us probably 15 minutes after we were seated and they received much better service; drinks, appetizers, food, etc. arrived timely while we sat there wondering what was going on. The lack of service seemed very intentional and we left very confused. I really prefer writing positive reviews, but this was beyond what I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant and so disappointing for us. I’m not sure what we did wrong, y’all?! The waitress gave us dirty looks and snarky tone in every interaction. it was completely unnecessary. I get it, I’ve been a waitress. Sometimes who is seated where and who is serving who can be a mess, but this was absolutely ridiculous.

I’m not sure if there is enough space to describe our depressing culinary experience here and also don’t want to waste more time thinking about this place- especially after waiting almost an hour to eat…..so I’ll just numerically list the pros and cons.

1. Pro-s

ZERO

2. Cons-

-50 minute wait for tomato soup which tasted like the burnt bottom of a 12 year old pan.

– Wings cold and very little hot sauce attached.

– Burger overly cooked with little flavor.

-Bacon was soggy after requesting it be crispy.

– Asked for extra cheese and pickles…received neither.

– Waiter forgot the fries (no biggie) but they were also cold and had zero flavor.

– In our section there were 12 separate tables and only 1 table actually had food on it for at least 30 minutes. One table had to box their meal immediately because it took so long to come.

BUT- Here’s the kicker. After the waiter acknowledgements that the kitchen was staffed extremely poorly, he then sent the Manager (a woman) out to our table. We hadn’t seen her once because she was supposedly “expo-ing”. We waited another 10 minutes before paying the check and she NEVER came out and instead of dealing with a customer- she simply took $46 off of our $65 meal.

Lastly- I am writing this while on the toilet and I’ll give you 3 guesses why.

Don’t ever eat here unless you want to burn money and lose 90 minutes of your day.
