This place is the definition of “blink and you’ll miss it” the cutest little hole-in-the-wall grill with peak cozy, vintage charm. Like… if a diner and your grandma’s kitchen had a baby.
The sweet angel who took my order over the phone and handed me my bag at pickup had full “Southern Mamaw who insists you eat more” energy. 10/10 would let her emotionally adopt me.
The smash burgers? Crispy, golden, edges doing that little lacy crunch thing The produce was so fresh it felt disrespectful to every sad, wilted tomato I’ve ever been served elsewhere.
Overall: immaculate vibes, elite burgers, Mamaw energy unmatched. Comfy Nostalgic Vibes but Instagram Worthy product! Will absolutely be back.

Needed to kill a day while in Kansas City, MO, so we looked to drive over into Kansas and find a smash burger place. This place had great reviews and did not disappoint. The smash burger and patty melt were amazing, the people were super friendly, and the inside was a mixture of a small diner and burger joint. Really glad we decided to try something and ended up here.

Stopped here while staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. We like to find the local places when we go on vacation. The whole family loved it and it was definitely worth the short drive. We can personally attest to The Big Bird sandwich and the 1930 burger. They were delicious and the fries are too. I recommend the upgrade for the parmesan fries. The portions are generous and reasonably priced.

If you like small town, Ma and Pa type burger joints, you need to get there! Mushroom/swiss burger with garlic parm fries, off the chart. Guy and DDD needs to swing by. I’ve been in the culinary field for decades and can appreciate the passion these people have for what they do and the quality they serve. Staff is amazingly friendly. Great meals at more than reasonable prices.

Overall I would eat here again, however there were some misses. The burger was fantastic. Best I have had in a while. The fries were almost inedible. Way overcooked.
The service was quick, but the person taking the orders was abrupt with everyone, interrupting them. Not unkind, just short and matter of fact. Rubbed me the wrong way.
The place is small which is ok. It was not too clean. Tables were sticky and the floor was dirty.

This place is a true diamond in the ruff. The location is out of the way it is small and dated. This all adds to the charm. Now to the important part. The food. If I tell you the hamburgers and sandwiches are the best I have had, would you believe me? You should. My wife had the Stallion and I had the Flame 32, with the best dang onion rings in KC. Hats off to creating some of the most interesting and tasty sandwich choices in the KC area.

Cute grill located off of highway 32 and 4th street in Wyandotte. The food was average and the service was fantastic. One disadvantage is the floor was quite dirty. Overall, it was a nice surprise but could use some cleaning.
