This is my new favorite spot! With the help of Grill2, I hosted a surprise birthday party for my partner and it was absolutely perfect! I can’t say enough about the staff and their contribution to make me look good. They were fun, organized and professional.

The food…omg! Everything from the presentation to the taste was unbelievable and authentic. Over 30 of my party guest and it was a 10/10 for an assortment of orders.

The music was fire and the MC was amazing.
It was the first time for most of my guest and they all raved about the food and atmosphere. Yes, we all plan to return.
Special thanks to the owner Paul and our waitress who handled over 30 people like a champ!

I stopped by Grill 2 tonight with my cousin, and what a vibrant experience it was!. The highlight of my visit was the DJ spinning an infectious mix of Caribbean rhythms and Afrobeats that had the whole place pulsing with energy.
The food was equally delightful, especially the rich, flavorful curry goat that hit all the right notes.

But beyond the music and the meals, it was the electric vibe and the lively crowd that truly made the night unforgettable. It’s definitely a return visit for me. This restaurant is pretty closed to road and be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. Came here for my nephews 21st bday arrived at 1030 kitchen was closed ok fine we order drinks 3 mojito’s 3 shots . The mojito’s were good and the bartender was nice. Thats about it. At exactly 12 midnight they turn the lights on super bright. They turn the music off and they basically told us to leave when we asked why they said they were closing. I said oh I’m sorry your Google listing has your hours listed as open until 1 AM. They said that was a mistake and continued sweeping and mopping and putting up chairs. Here’s where it really took a turn for the worst as we are ordering our Uber and cashing out, the man who acted like security tells us to wait outside. IN NEGATIVE -16 DEGREE WEATHER. I am not joking he looked me dead in the face and asked me to wait outside in sub zero temps after i just spent over $100 on drinks in 90 mins. I told him I would wait right there for my Uber and that it was beyond reproach to ask the customer to wait outside in dangerously low temperatures. He told me to go down the street to another restaurant that was open. I would not recommend and i will never be back

The food was really good the first time I visited in the summertime, service was awesome as well and the vibes was just right. I loved the music despite having to yell over it to communicate to the waitresses and/or to whom you may be out with; the entire setting of this place was nice, so it automatically became my fav.

However, as time went by, I started to order via Uber Eats and my order would arrive with something missing. I’d always get the seafood rice, which consists of a lobster tail, shrimps and pieces of salmon. My order would then arrive without the lobster tail. When I would add a Pepsi to my order, they’d send a Coke instead. And no one would contact me to ask me if any of this was even okay. I brushed it off thinking they just ran out or something. But as I continued to order, my food would come with no lobster tail and they’d give me a Coke with no communication.

This evening was it for me. I called them in advance to ask them if they had all of the items to create the food and I was told yes. I told the waitress that I would make the order online and come pick it up (10pm). However, when I attempted to make the order online, it said that they were closed but Google says they close at 1 a.m. I called several times again and no one would pick up the phone.

So I drove to them, went in and ordered 2 seafood rice for me and my mom, one with no shrimps because my mom is allergic to shrimps. I should’ve checked the bag before I left but I was so tired this evening. My gut was also telling me to, but like I said, I was super tired. I left without checking the bag.

Upon getting home and we (my mom and I) open the containers… guess what? No lobster tails in either of the food, and they put massive amounts of salmon in my mom’s food to compensate for the fact that they did not give her a lobster tail and because of her shrimp allergy. In my food? No lobster tail, no salmon, and they put a lot of shrimps again to compensate for not putting salmon and the lobster tail in my food (assuming they had to use the salmon for my mom’s dish).

I’m upset because AGAIN, no one communicated with me of the lack or shortage of the required ingredients. Please note that before I placed my order this time, I asked the damn waitress if the items were available and she said yes! I’m so upset!

My mom contacted them because I was too annoyed to call them, and my mom told them how we felt basically and they offered to give us the tails tomorrow. We declined. We just won’t be returning and/or ordering from them anymore.

Slow service and unprofessional staff. I ordered catering from them on two occasions 3 years apart and still got the same results. The most recent time I ordered two half trays of food. I called and was told to call the day before I wanted ti pickup. When I called to order they told me to call back so they can get the prices and when I did no one answered the phone. I decided to go in person and the doors were locked at 1:45pm when they were supposed to open at noon. I called again and finally got my order in for 1pm pickup the next day. On pickup day I went in at 1:15pm and the food wasn’t ready. I wasn’t able to receive my complete order until 5:30pm. Very unprofessional and they did not offer me anything to rectify the situation. I would err on the side of caution when ordering from this establishment.

Randomly stopped here one Friday afternoon around 6:00pm before going to a concert at the arena downtown. I didn’t read the reviews before coming here and I may not have come if I did. We didn’t make a reservation but were seated immediately by a very lovely young lady. First of all, there is a bouncer at the door with a metal detector wand and he pats you down and checks bags. Now I don’t know what has happened at this place before that warranted a bouncer, but it’s an indication of the type of establishment it is. There is a DJ and the music was absolutely fire, but so loud! It’s a sit down restaurant, not a club! My husband sat across from me at a small table and we could barely hear what each other was saying and we had to yell. All of that mess aside, the food and drinks were unbelievably good! We were so hungry and crunched for time that we just scarfed everything down! The drinks were super strong but very good. We actually waited for our meals before we continued drinking, and that took quite a while. I wouldn’t return to this place for dine-in even if I lived in CT. I’m not sure why a service charge is added to the receipt, maybe the DJ? I wonder if the service charge is added for delivery or take out orders? All in all, the food and drinks were amazing but the whole ambiance of the place leaves much to be desired.

5 Stars for the wings and shrimp – battered and sauce was flavorful. These were perfect.

Now, they’re going to have to revamp the oxtail rasta pasta recipe because it doesn’t even look good and didn’t taste its price tag.

Oxtail empanada was okay.. a bit hyped up for what it is. It could have been regular shredded beef in there and I wouldn’t taste the difference.

We went on a Sunday where it wasn’t especially lit, but we enjoyed the music and made the best of it. The hookah was hittin so that’s always a plus

The food was good. The best salmon I’ve had. I had the grilled salmon.
We went for a birthday surprise planned by my fiancé. Experience was great. One draw back from the 5 stars however was that we were rushed. The meals took a long time to come out, and the menu wasn’t what was promised, but what we did have was great.
I’d go back but earlier next time so we can take our time and enjoy this fine establishment.
