First time at Grico’s and I’ll definitely be back. We reserved a private room and it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. My guests and I all had wonderful entrées, though we collectively all thought the cocktails were entirely too sweet. Our waiter was very nice, attentive, and conversational. Definitely check out this spot.

Great experience. The food is fantastic. Had a meeting with colleagues and our table was ready as per our reservation. Great variety of specials from appetizers to entrees and desserts in addition to the regular menu. The service was quick and attentive. Not a negative really but an observation, the dining chairs are very lite weight and several tipped over including my own. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I decided to go out to dinner on Valentine’s Day for the first time in 14 years. I called for reservations a few weeks before. The folks from the restaurant called two days before to verify the reservations. Making sure our Valentines Day dinner was going to be great.

The experience at the restaurant was fantastic. Great atmosphere and great food. I had the Crab Bisque with Chicken Marsala. My wife had a Flirtini with the Chicken Francese. We shared the Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte for Dessert.

We definitely had a great Valentine’s Day experience and we will be back to try more of the menu!

I worked with Marissa and her team for our wedding catering at Whitewoods. Grico’ s waitstaff and bartenders were efficient and professional during our entire wedding. We had a large wedding, 218 people, and Grico’s was wonderful in plating and serving delicious food. Marissa was absolutely wonderful to work with and was so kind, professional, and flexible to help make our day exactly what we wanted. Thank you Grico’s for a beautiful evening and wonderful food!!!! Everyone said food was delicious!

Chose Grico’s for a special occasion this weekend. The staff, especially Matt our server, is amazing and the food was just delicious. Clams in butter garlic appetizer, house made creamy Bleu cheese dressing, and lump crab casserole is very highly recommended. Great chef. Looking forward to coming back….

Yesterday we went to Gricos, we were greeted by a lovely host that quickly got us to our table. We had a reservation for a small private booth. The food came out accordingly. As you can see, it was delicious. I got chicken franchaise, and my girlfriend got a filet. The staff was very friendly, and honestly, i didn’t spend as much as i thought i was gonna. Reasonably priced for a nicer place to dine with friends and family. Would dine here again, and you should try it as well. You can thank me later

First I would definitely recommend a reservation. Grico’s is a fine dining establishment with great service and food. Menu is a variety of classic italian, steaks and seafood. The decor is vintage 1930s and 1940s. The private booths provide a unique dining experience for couples or groups of 2-4 people.

Grico’s is a restaurant located in Exeter, and part of the Friedman Hospitality Group of fine dining restaurants. The decor has an Italian vibe, with rich paintings reminiscent of the country.

We arrived on time for our 5 p.m. reservation, and were warmly greeted by the hostess, who seated us at a table in the bar area. We made reservations very late, so we most likely missed out having our meal in the dining room or one of their booths, each privatized by a sheer curtain. Our server, Megan, was utterly adorable, with an infectious smile and a sparkling personality. Later, she even arranged our table and took a romantic picture, as we were celebrating an anniversary occasion.

We were offered a complimentary slice of Italian bread cut in half, along with butter; however, more is available upon request.

The cappelletti soup was delicious, with two meatballs individually wrapped in pasta with a savory broth. The salads, however, were unappealing, with a very small amount of greens, two sliced cucumbers, a few pieces of shredded carrots, and a tiny amount of tomatoes. Although a creamy peppercorn dressing was listed on the menu, it was in fact clear with a taste of black pepper.

I ordered the prime rib special (medium well), but was a bit overdone, and not nearly as thick as one would expect from such a cut. The twice-baked potato was small and underwhelming, and looked as though it came from a frozen package. The horseradish dipping sauce, however, was excellent.

The Chicken Melanzone was splendid, with sliced eggplant and melted mozzarella sitting atop two slices of chicken breast and smothered in a tangy vodka sauce. The side dish of thin spaghetti was very generous, but the large amount absorbed the sauce, leaving it dried out before it was finished.

The dessert was also a mixed bag. The apple crisp with vanilla ice cream was delightful, but the tiramisu, although light and topped with a brandy whipped cream, was not flavorful.

Finally, parking behind the restaurant is very tight. The establishment should make a parking arrangement with the Family Dollar store next door during its business hours.

Overall, Grico’s doesn’t live up to the expectations one would have of the Friedman brand, with reputable restaurants that include Bank and Vine, Fire and Ice, and Cork. Nor do Grico’s fine dining prices live up to the overall quality of the meals.

Stuffed to the gills from Grico’s. Customary to start off with the Shrimp Savoy. I decided to go with the special which was tropical redfish topped w/ crabmeat + lemon butter sauce over spinach risotto. Finished with creme brulee. I really love their risotto so it was an easy decision when their special came over risotto. Food and service were excellent like always.

The whole experience was perfect! From the hostess who called to confirm our reservation to the young man who took the plates from our table and everything in-between! Service was very professional, food and drinks were spot on as ordered and the desert was out of this world! So much pride goes in to everything they do there. Highly recommend! We will definitely be returning! We had sausage stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, filet mignon, 16oz delmonico, cheese cake and a chocolate bomb w/ hot fudge and house made whipped cream!
