We had a great experience here. We took advantage of the West Chester TAPS program where between 5 and 7 on Wednesday evenings participating restaurants offer appetizer and drink deals. It’s great for trying new restaurants or hitting old favorites at a lower price point. In this case my dining partner had been here but I hadn’t. We chose Greystone because it had a great TAPS menu with lots of options. It was a beautiful night so we opted to sit outside on the patio which was good because it turns out you can only get the TAPS menu on the patio or at the bar. We each ordered a bowl of lobster bisque that we both thought was delicious. Next we shared a charcuterie board which came with 3 cheeses, 2 meats, a generous amount of bread and some spreads. My dining partner also had a 1/2 dozen oysters. I also ordered an orange crush cocktail. My only complaint for the meal was my drink was very light on the alcohol. The service was friendly and prompt. There were a few items on the non TAPS menu that we would come back and try.

I want to like this restaurant especially because I enjoy raw oysters but I’m just not getting that nice seafood restaurant vibe. The food overall is good not great and I was really missing a cozy atmosphere. The table and chairs seem cold and uninviting. My water was sweating on the table and dripped from the glass jar all over my clothes. A coaster would’ve been nice.

A little pricey, however, this place is worth the price! Great selection and high quality of seafood! Raw oysters were so fresh and delicious. The lobster ravioli was so good! The clam steamer was just ok. The pita bread served with the steamer tasted better than the clams, which were overcooked. Our server was really attentive and helpful.

Not a single complaint. We came at the busiest time on a Friday night and were able to sit at the bar within minutes. Our server made great recommendations and we loved everything we tried. I had never been to an oyster bar before so nothing to compare it to but I was very impressed and will definitely come back!

Went for oysters and some drinks. Will go back again. Outside patio tables are on sidewalk with normal foot traffic going by. Nice for people watching but not if you want to eat in privacy with your mistress. There were lots of cute dogs walking by on leashes and I wanted to pet them all but I am allergic to dogs. Bathroom is inside but if you are outdoorsy enough, there’s a bathroom outside as well. They don’t have Guinness.

Went for an early birthday dinner for my wife this past Saturday afternoon. Oysters and lobster napoleon were terrific and fresh. Drinks were well made and all our other food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back when we are in town.

TOP 5 calamari that I’ve ever had! The service was incredible and I’ll definitely be back. I’m disappointed that I wasn’t hungry otherwise I would have taken pics and fully explored the menu. Must experience this place of you’re in West Chester.
