Been here several times for their happy hour. It was quiet yesterday/Friday at 5pm. There were several cute outdoor tables available. Small and tender oysters are still $1. Draft beers are $6 for a pint. The seasonal cocktails of mojito and Paloma were strong and tasty at $10. The indoor vibe is good.

Wonderful experience. Great happy hour. Oysters were a treat even if they were small but for $1,cant go wrong. They were fresh and tasted great. Happy hour wine was well priced and the location was central

A perfect event with Grey Lady for my birthday! The whole team was so helpful and made a perfect evening with great drinks and great food. The space is perfect for hosting, no complaints!

I can’t express how amazing this place is. The vibe is always fun. Staff is always friendly and food is always out in a timely fashion. Must come for their $1 oysters. The best! Came in summer and fall. Both times were great. Love the set up. Cute little vibe. Bartender is great. Drinks are strong. This will always be a HH spot and brunch with the girls. Spent my birthday here, will always come back! Thank you! Oysters gallore!

Great spot for a low key boozy brunch or to bring a date to on a Sunday afternoon. There’s outdoor seating but the restaurant itself is vibey. The drinks are fairly priced but the brunch special is even better. East coast oysters were small but delicious and a must try is their truffle Mac and cheese.

There is no doubt Grey Lady has one of the best Happy Hours in the city. Their oyster deal, at least three choices for $1/each is tough to beat. Wine is $9, draft $6. Food is GREAT overall, and the French fries come in a generous basket filled to the brim. The vibe is chill and awesome, with a mixed crown, young and not so young, new to the city and old New Yorkers who know a great deal when they see one.

The grey lady in the lower east side on the corner of Delancey and , they have outdoor seating. You can dress casual Which is nice. On Sunday and Monday the Oysters are $1, lobster roll warm with butter and fries , a apple crumble , and a watermelon margarita no jalapeños!, this is not my first time here I’ve also had the mussels. The food drinks and service are good . It’s a nice place for happy hour and it’s in a nice spot. But the place is also a nice intimate dinner spot. The bathroom is gender neutral with a open area for the sink . In total I spent about $70 dollars tip included on myself and I enjoyed it.

Decent food. We tried a few of their sandwiches – would describe this as bar food rather than a seafood place. The food is fine but it is pricey (~$20 entrees, $32 lobster roll). Additionally, the lobster was over cooked and rubbery. If you come here for their $1 oyster happy hour that is probably the best deal. Otherwise, there are plenty of similar options (in terms of food quality) around at lower price points. The inside itself is nicely decorated, but the music was a bit too loud and the staff was somewhat disorganized – it’s more like a bar than a resturant.

Used to love Grey Lady. Haven’t been in years. Terrible experience today – 0 hospitality on a day with ~30-40% occupancy. Walked in and the bartender was very friendly — no host in sight. Sat down on the couch to wait for service and instead of being greeted with “welcome” was asked in a standoffish sarcastic tone “can I help you?”. We said here for some cocktails and again received a standoffish “ok – well normally you don’t just sit down in a bar”. Felt so unwelcome immediately walked out. Won’t be back.

Stopped by for some happy hour oysters at 1 dollar a pop. They were decent but for a dollar each they were a great deal. They also have 6 dollar beers, 9 dollar wine, and 10 dollar classic cocktails.
