The bread is phenomenal. The fries are good and onion rings are average at best. We had the hot Toddy with spicy banana peppers (they were 2 out 10 spicy) and the Cheese Steak. Hot Toddy was very good. Cheese Steak was average at best- it comes with raw, diced onions only- not green peppers to be found in the store. Again, the bread makes the sandwich and because of that, I will be back. We ordered a cup of the potato cheese bacoon soup, and it was below average – it was too floury for my liking. We ordered a chocolate cookie to go and it was a hit huge and very good. Service was amazing and truly enjoyed them walk us through some suggestions when looking at the menu.

One of my new favorite spots in Indy. All of the food there is awesome. Got the Hot Toddy sandwich which I would highly recommend. The mac and cheese and very large and very filling. I was there with a group and everyone was overly happy with their orders. Food can be on the expensive side FYI.

This review is long overdue! I visited Greiner’s SubShop with my sister, Dawn, in July 2024. The sandwiches were amazing. My sister ordered the macaroni and cheese and it was phenomenal! I remember their team being super friendly and helpful when it came to navigating the menu. The atmosphere is perfect in every way! I absolutely loved that they had their story depicted on the wall. I look forward to visiting again in the future!

The service was great. The food was so much I couldn’t finish. My second visit was just as good and I even got a bonus sample of fries. Glad I stopped at this little local place! Give yourself a few minutes to wait and enjoy. It’s a tiny place that is run by a tiny crew. They are all super nice!!

While traveling through Indi we were in the mood for a sandwich and found Greiner’s SubShop. The staff was knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and generous. The atmosphere was calm and comforting.
More importantly the food was delicious! I had Rays 1969 hoagie and my husband had the Hot Toddy. Both sandwiches were amazing. Wish we lived closer so I could eat here everyday.

First time stopping in last Sunday. Walked in blind to the menu. My two kids, husband, and I all got different sandwiches, all just as good as the others. Guy behind the counter was so much fun and a really great soul. Vibe was relaxed, comfy, & “old skool.”
