We paid $30 for one hamburger, six mini corn dogs, a side of fries, and a side of onion rings. The soda drinks were not refillable, too. For the quality of the food, we felt it was overpriced. However, the service was excellent, and it was fun to learn more about this area of Lincoln and see all the aircraft models and photos inside. ️ We will likely not return though.

I haven’t been there in a long time kind of forgot about it because they don’t advertise. I got a double hamburger at 12:30 in the afternoon. It was ready very fast was not fresh cooked. In fact probably sitting in water and Greece. The meat was rubbery and tasted just a little bit strange.

The food was alright, cost me $17 for a cheeseburger, onion rings, and a pop. Got charged 75 cents to use a debit card. Drink refills cost which almost makes sense since the pop had a perfect mixture of syrup and carbonation, and was probably the most notable thing about the meal. Like to support small business but the prices need deflation and the fees got to go, makes the whole transaction seem petty and unappreciated.

Great find. Hidden treasure. Can’t fault the food home made burgers and very tasty. If you’re a plane, Air Force, military aircraft fan…added bonus for a sit down meal great models and decor. Only fault I found waS slightly overpriced fries. But they too were fresh and great fries. Three ate in and I ended up taking order home to husband.

Definitely a hidden gym and is still in the family. Based on an Air Force veteran. One of the few places that still hand patty their own burgers and the food. Definitely the best burgers in Lincoln

Best burger in Lincoln. That’s what we were told by some friends… they were spot on! great home cooked burgers with all the fixins. The owner Greg and his wife still run the place with love, and it comes though in the food. Definitely check it out for a great burger.

Caveat emptor…

It is a lot of fun to share new restaurant finds when they were a fun visit. It isn’t so fun to tell about when things were bad.

Greg’s Drive In isn’t a drive in, but a drive through. There is a decent sized dining room but a lack of parking; and the best spots were filled by the employees.

The menu is limited, so I elected to order the cheeseburger and fries special listed on the sign for $7.99. I then said no to the standard condiments and added lettuce and a tomato slice for 90¢. They only offer soft drinks and shakes so I selected tap water. Somehow my “special” cost me $10.32.

When I questioned the price I was told Lincoln taxes are expensive and perhaps I wanted to remove something from the order. I kept my order and asked for a receipt, I was given an inch of cash register tape with the business name on it and hand written in the date and total amount.

As to the food… The burger was fine although about 1/4 lb patty on an egg bun built for a larger burger. The fries were stubby shoe string style in a small paper envelope the ensured they went cold before you could eat the 1″ and 2″ pieces.

The only items available on the condiment counter were straws and napkins. A small cup of catsup came with the fries.

2 other customers did come in while I was eating, otherwise there was no traffic. The future of this 29 year-old business looks bleak indeed.

Had the limoncello and bailey’s cupcakes before sitting down with a Philly cheesesteak and some fries; my wife had the pizza burger with the jalapeño stuffers. Absolutely amazing food, and appreciative service. We will be back!

Decent food, I got exactly what ordered in a timely manner. Clean bathrooms. If you like airplanes you’ll enjoy the decor.
