I really want to like this place because it’s in my neighborhood and has so much potential. I’ve been here about 6-7 times now and the service is always mid-range to poor (e.g., waiting a long time for everything even though it’s not busy). Ordered the NY strip for the 2nd time. Both times ordered well done. Both times came out medium. Sent back tonight and when it came back out it was medium-well at best (still pink with visible pink juices). Other food has generally been good (e.g., wraps, salads, soup). Probably won’t be going back. Would love for them to get their act together and turn it into a reliable place.

Arrived for breakfast. Four at our table. One table of three and another table of one were all that were there. Waited 7 minutes for wait staff to bring menu. Waited another 5 for our beverages and to order. Once we ordered we waited 15 minutes and wait staff brought out toast. Waited another 12 for our food. (Toast must have been the appetizer…) One in our party ordered some Mexican breakfast (described with hash browns and pico de gallo). Received two (eggs over refried beans on a tostito shell) on her plate and another whole scrambled egg on her plate. Plate was full of eggs, no pico de gallo and no hash browns. When waitress was asked, was told they don’t have pico de gallo–some excuse about OSHA…..we didn’t really follow that. Asked about hash browns and was told this didn’t come with hash browns. Said “no hash browns and no pico de galls, why not told when ordered as these are on the menu as part of the meal”. Told changing menus so they aren’t updated. One excuse after another so finally waitress brought hash browns and told customer “these don’t come with your meal but we won’t charge you”. Still dry eggs and no pico de gallo. Cook then comes out–tells us not to “yell at waitress”…..nobody yelled but there was a great deal of questioning going on and no answers made any sense so appeared wait staff went to kitchen cook to complain. The cook said no pico de gallo so was asked if there wasn’t something that could have been made to resemble. “Yes, but isn’t pico de gallo”. Customer questioned if she shouldn’t have been given that option. Cook didn’t like being asked any questions. Got very sassy and rude with our table. Clearly the customer is never right in this place. We were told to eat and leave which we would happily oblige. We tried to eat but cook continued to stay at our table sassing us like she had to have the last word. We asked her to stop and leave our table a number of times so we could eat and leave. She didn’t, she just kept it up……We even put up our hands to “please stop” and she continued. Appetites were gone, food was partially eaten and then we checked out. Tickets weren’t ready. First ticket took 5 minutes to prepare. Other three took another 6. We walked out and will never return. When Gregg’s first opened, food was beautiful, service was great, wait staff was friendly. WOW, has this place gone to below down hill. Doesn’t even deserve a one star rating.

I went there for breakfast and requested an egg white omelet, I was willing to pay for a three egg omelet and have them just throw away the yolks and they told me no, they would not do it. It is because they do not use real eggs for there omelets, or they may be real, but they are liquid, I was there with friends therfore I had a two egg omelet but I’m surprised with as many dietary restrictions people have, that they refuse to be accomodating. It’s not like they didn’t have “Real” eggs in the kitchen, if you ordered an over easy egg, you got a real, OE egg, they just didn’t wan’t to be inconveinenced. I will probably not go back for breakfast. First time I have been disappointed in them, which is why it was so disappointing.
