Garlic bread was sooo good! Serving size is fine, service is good. I think it’s a fantasy experience so we will come back.

Ordered a “large cheese pizza”. Took multiple tries for some reason to get them to understand “large cheese pizza”. Got there and there was a margarita pizza for some reason.

They offered to make a new cheese pizza. I waited, while the staff did their best to not make eye contact, including the manager. Never heard from anyone except the hostess, who did apologize. While I waited I saw there was another pizza place closeby. I ordered, and wandered away from this place. No one noticed or cared.

They offered to give me the pizza for free. I was already in my car on my way somewhere that cared about my money. There ARE other places to eat, y’know.

I won’t be back. It’s a shame because the food is excellent. The service tonight was absurd. I can’t trust anything else about the place now.

Stopped by here for dinner on my way to a New Years Eve party. In general the restaurant was easily accessible and clean looking. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi with linguine which was good, but not necessarily $30 worth of “good” and a Sprite which was mostly just seltzer water. The bartender seemed to be working double duty between serving the bar and the main resturaunt and was unfortunately covering my table. Aside from a general lack of friendliness I basically did not see him after my food was delivered. The restaurant was not that crowded despite it being a holiday and I had a full view of the bar where he seemed to be far more engaged with the patrons sitting in that area. I would have liked to have tried dessert, but it took so long to rope someone into bringing me the check that I no longer had time before I had to get to where I was going. After speaking with a manager about my experience, they offered me a gift card or a free dessert in compensation, but unfortunately I do not live in the area and had to get to where I was going as soon as possible.

Overall, if you’re going with a couple of kids to order pizza on a Saturday afternoon, I am sure that it would be an okay experience. If you’re looking for a nice, upscale, mid-evening dinner with coworkers, or if you’re looking for something akin to “fine dining”, I’d probably recommend that you steer clear.

Less than stellar experience because the waitress told me that I ordered my pizza wrong and that is why I was overcharged. Lol that is not something a restaurant employee should ever say to a paying customer. So, I had ordered a pizza with three toppings and according to the menu that is the combo pizza which is $18.99. But I noticed on my receipt I was charged $25. So when I asked about it, the manager was very nice and fixed the issue. However, afterward, the waitress came up to me and stated that the next time I order a pizza, order it like this… Lol no, it is not my job to point at the menus with what it is that I’m ordering. If I ordered a pizza with three toppings then as an employee, you should be able to decipher what that is and enter it in the computer correctly. A light should have went on and said aha that is the combo pizza, but instead I was charged with ordering a New York pizza with three individual toppings (incorrect, overcharged). Also, I was here on New Year’s Eve for lunch. There was only about one other table in the restaurant. This place was not busy. So please tell me why I was never checked up on to see if we needed another set of drinks? IDK, when I leave a restaurant, I expect to feel in a good mood and happy about the experience, especially when going for nearly $100, but instead I left in a bad mood and I’m still in a bad mood as I write this. Because of this less than stellar experience, I won’t be returning. However, I will say it again, the manager was very nice and did the right thing.

Gregorio’s is fantastic. We probably order from here at least twice a week. The pasta is al dente and the minestrone soup perfect. We also enjoy the salads and the appetizers. Best of all, the service is wonderful.

We got over $100 of carryout last night which is a treat for us. Unfortunately I’ll never get that $141 back. The shrimp scampi was … Atrocious. No flavor, the pasta was supposed to be angel hair, and there was zero flavor. The pepperoni calzone had maybe three pepperoni. The white $30 pizza had no flavor. The kids Caesar salad was tiny and flavorless. This was a celebration dinner for our daughter (she got the scampi) and it was a huge waste. We’ve eaten at the Potomac location several times and it was always great.

We are guests from out of town and our hosts ordered delivery from Gregorio’s Trattoria for dinner last night. The disappointing part is that they messed up our order, we ordered two cheese pizzas and one sausage pizza but received three cheese pizzas. They were willing to send us the sausage pizza we ordered but it was going to be an hour long wait. Gregorio’s redeemed themselves since their cheese pizza was phenomenal. Excellent ingredients made the difference. Next time I’d love to try their sausage pizza!

We dine in or get take-out at least once a week from the Gregorio’s at Sumner Place. The servings are very generous – my wife and I can easily split many of the entrees instead of each getting our own – and I have liked everything I’ve ever tried there. The managers are attentive, the staff is friendly and the “bar scene” is always enjoyable, especially when Nick is working. So glad to have this local spot!

It was a very nice meals, food was great. I do think they were understaffed a bit and the prices were also slightly higher than the menu. Not a huge deal, it was just the fact it happened. One person got a fairly poor beer and there was no beer menu.

we’ve tried different dishes several different times and the food is mediocre at best.
no flavour.
the pasta tasted bland and even the recently purchased pizza was bad.
all we could taste were excessively salty olives…
& to add insult to injury, the pizza was $27 for a medium!

just ask around disappointing.
