Led by acclaimed restaurateur Greer Fredericks, our scratch kitchen serves modern Southern cuisine blending low country and high country traditions. Famous for our crispy buttermilk fried chicken, duck fat chicken wings, and seasonal specialties like chicken pot pie and Yaka mein. We source locally and prepare 90% of our menu in-house daily. Located in Norwalk’s artsy Wall Street neighborhood with convenient parking, we offer full-service dining, takeout, delivery, and catering. Came here for Sunday brunch. Really great food and service. My son and I had the 4 piece fried chicken with Mac and cheese pluce the soul burger. This is a happy place especially for brunch on a Sunday. Given the snowy weather of the lst few days Greer Southern Table was a welcomed respite. If you are in the Norwalk, CT area go to Greer… you won’t be disappointed. Great for friends and family dinning!

Food was absolutely amazing, the Key Lime Cocktail was like dessert in a glass. The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. I particularly liked the Brie appetizer. Word of caution to those with allergies: they use the same fryer for everything, so if you have a shellfish allergy, you unfortunately can’t safely have any of the fries or fried chicken.

The food here is so good, we chose Greer to host a baby shower and it was absolutely perfect! We booked The Savannah Room and the room was private, elegant, and exactly what we needed for our event. Liz our event coordinator was on top of it all and made sure we had everything we needed, including matching the table linens to the chosen theme. We had Tessa as our server and she was so pleasant, professional, and attentive, I don’t even think any of our guests needed to ask for anything. The food was obviously amazing. They really made this event quite special for us. Really great staff and quality food here, I can’t recommend this place more!

We had such an amazing experience at Greer! The staff made us feel so welcome and attentive throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious — we’re still raving about the crawfish dip! Special thanks to Sara for going above and beyond to make my mom’s birthday celebration extra special. We would definitely come back again — the place is absolutely beautiful. Intimate yet fun, and perfect for date night or just to grab a drink at the bar!

AMAZING. I was invited here for a bridal shower and fell so in love with the restaurant that I needed to come back for dinner.
The fried chicken is incredibly juicy and perfectly seasoned. Our favorite entrees were the Shrimp and Grits & the Fried Chicken, but everything we tried was phenomenal. Drinks were delicious, well balanced and had cute garnishes.
Our bill was less expensive than we guessed it would be, and was a true value for the incredible quality of the food & experience.
The atmosphere is super cute and classy, with plentiful greenery and thoughtful decor. Our server was attentive and had a very genuine kind energy.
Cannot recommend enough!

PERFECT DINING EXPERIENCE
Very unexpected, but absolutely incredible experience. We were initially going to have dinner at a different place, but upon arrival they had an issue in the kitchen, so we had to find another. I went on Google, and came across Greer Southern Table. I was craving a lovely meal, and I got that and more. I had the peach bruschetta (which was delicious) as appetizer, and the barbecue chicken as my entree. I thoroughly enjoyed both, though I have to say the portion sizes are quite decent and I could barely finish it. I only had one drink, the peach aperol spritz, and it was very refreshing and mixed to perfection.
The service we experienced was the best that I’ve had in a very long time. Our server, Sara, knew exactly what she was talking about. In terms of the menu and recommendations, she was on point. Very friendly and energetic, going into detail about the items on the menu, and checking up on us frequently making sure that everything was running smooth, really made our evening. Sara even let us in on a little secret, but that one you have to figure out by yourselves
It was also Wednesday, which means live music. The band was amazing! Playing classic songs in a Jazz-style, it just added to our already perfect evening.

This is my first time trying out Greer Southern Table, and it will definitely not be the last time. The decor and atmosphere of the place is very unique and charming. Service is great, our host Gabe was so sweet and accommodating. There’s a great selection of drinks. But the star of the show is the food! We had fried oysters as starters, and they were out of this world. I had one of the specials, crawfish and andouille sausage pasta, and I think I licked the plate clean.
Highly recommend, and can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I drove down from Bristol for our first visit to Greer’s, and even with a 90-minute trip, we’d do it again in a heartbeat! We came during Mardi Gras weekend, and the energy was electric. Even though the parking garage was packed and the restaurant was at capacity, our reservation was honored promptly.
The live band was a fantastic touch, but the real star of the service was our waiter, Santos. Despite the crowd, he was attentive, professional, and didn’t miss a beat with our drinks or water. The food was absolutely to die for—perfectly seasoned and timed beautifully. We were shocked at how fast everything came out of the kitchen on a busy Saturday night. If you’re looking for authentic Southern hospitality and ‘to die for’ food, this is the spot. We will definitely be back!
