Super friendly staff. Large selection of food. I ordered sesame chicken meal. It was super delicious and not overly sweet will visit again.

I’ve been going here for many years and it’s always been good. After possibly hundreds of orders, I’ve no real complaints. The new(ish) owners are very nice! The food is always good and they have literally never messed up an order. We especially love the rangoons (open the container so they don’t sweat and get soft!), the general Tsos chicken and the vegetable lo mein the most. We could eat it every day.

The food is good, cheap and very fast. And the ppl are always nice.

I ordered the curry chicken and I had to do a treasure hunt in a sea of onions to find my chicken. No other vegetables to be found, even in the rice and the lo mein.

Since the new owners took over Greenwich Panda, I order take out monthly, as I did with the previous owners.

We keep going back because we are satisfied with the quality of food. It’s American Chinese takeout food. It pretty much taste the same from Coast to Coast. To me there isn’t much difference in the new owners’ food then those of the previous owners. Actually, some items I like better. Such as the Crab Rangoons & Egg Rolls are never overly fried.

It’s fine if you don’t care for the food, but leavening a 1 star rating is very harsh. One star ratings are for extremely unpleasant experiencesand, not conflicting taste bud issues.

Remember…. the last thing we need in Greenwich is another empty storefront. Let’s be a little more thoughtful & respectful when leaving reviews on our local businesses.

Food tasted horrible. Bad choice for Togo containers. They are plastic so the condensation ruined our fried wontons. Meat was bland. Everything(5 different orders) had a sour taste to it. The front counter person was nice. No problems with customer service.

Updated my review. I thought 7 months later maybe things would be better.
Does this place work on Opposite Day rules?

Pork egg roll? No pork in it.
Extra sauce? No sauce.
No mushrooms? Basically swimming in mushroom stew.

What is the deal with this? $30 paid, and you even try to get your customers to pay again, when they already paid online? While giving a face like you don’t believe us?

Also let’s not forget it’s totally flavorless now. I should not have to add soy sauce to orange chicken to taste more than the old oil they used to fry it. You can get better slop out of an $8 bag of Mandarin Chicken at Trader Joes.

Went here for 30 years. Never again now for sure. Go somewhere else

Panda stands out in my mind by comparison to other similar restaurants. They don’t mess-up orders and that’s important. They are fast and they take cash or credit. The condiments are plentiful. Mostly set up for take-out. It’s informal & clean. The people are always friendly and they live locally. Very nice family! I’ve tried nearly the entire menu over the years and they’re consistent. I’ve never been utterly disappointed with anything; only minor things that could be improved upon (more space inside to dine, more organic or vegan options, better drink selections…). I like the MSG free aspects. The prices are reasonable here!

We did take out. I can’t judge atmosphere, that’s why I gave it one star. The food was very dry and overcooked. Some of it was tasteless. Wouldn’t go there again.

Visiting the area from out of state. Looking for something on the route home. Saw some of the other reviews and thought we would try it. Ordered wanton soup and house special chop suey, asked to add extra garlic. Soup was good, but chop suey was very good, plenty of mixed vegetables and chicken, pork, shrimp and faux lobster. We’ll be back. Thanks

I really don’t like giving bad reviews but due to the amount of hair that I found in our food they are getting a 1 star. I saw the first hair on the lid to my Mongolian beef combination plate. I’m fully aware that a simple mistake with a hair in food can happen at any restaurant so I didn’t let it bother me and I continued to eat the Mongolian beef which was very mediocre. I have been cooking for 20 years so I know what fresh food tastes like/ the beef was not super fresh but it was also not going bad the dish was ok / it was edible I was hungry whatever/ the pork fried rice is yellow that’s wierd usually fried rice is brown where I come from but I don’t know they do it different some places so whatever/ the rice was ok not terrible/ the pork in the rice was plentiful and once again not super fresh but not going bad so yeah that’s that mediocre at best. Now onto the eggroll/ just not a good egg roll in my opinion/ didn’t see any hair in it and that was the best part about it/ I usually like eggrolls and will order a couple on the side if they are good but these are not good eggrolls/ nothing in them/ lack of effort/they are way on the bottom of the scale of eggrolls/ dissapointing. Ok fried dumplings were ok no complaints there no hair there ok. My wife ordered crab Rangoon and chicken chow fun/ she said the Rangoon was weak I didn’t try them. I tried the chow fun and it was okay the noodles and chicken were fresh it was ok not spectacular but not bad. Also we got a small side of pork fried rice. So my wife said she didn’t like the chow fun said it was flavorless and she didn’t want anymore of anything. Later that night I started to eat the leftover chow fun and saw another hair/ I took it out and put that aside/ then I started to eat some of the side of fried rice another hair in there this is getting bad… I went back to the chow fun had a few more bites until I uncovered another hair on the bottom of the container/ now I’m getting really disgusted and ready to throw up/ that was the breaking point / how many dam hairs do you need in one order of food? More than one is absolutely disgusting imo. I found at least 4 hairs/ black hairs/ I have brown hair and so does my wife/ why don’t you throw some fingernail clippings or some fingers or hell an arm or leg in there wth/ ever hear of a hat or bandana or hair net!! So yeah we will never go back/ and if the locals love this place go ahead but guess what it’s the only Chinese place in the area so what choice do you have? You have no choice / you have crappy yellow fried rice/ and the place in Cambridge might be worse/ I gotta go it’s been real!
