Recently visited Zeke’s and had the braised short ribs on a bed on risotto with carrots, celery and a side of garlic spinach and yellow squash. The dish was fresh and delicious. Although I believe short ribs are supposed to be served on the bone. The dish was still very good. Very tender meat and excellent presentation. The spinach and garlic was outstanding and would have made a great meal all on its own. Highly highly recommended! Their Prime Rib on Friday along with their fried pickles are amazing!!

Here in town for a few days and we wanted to find a place close by to grab dinner after a long drive. We were pleasantly surprised. We had salads, fish and chips, a couple appetizers and the shrimp creole soup (soup of the day). All were tasty and everyone loved the fries. Our waitress, Tori, was sweet and attentive too! And don’t be deterred by it being on a golf course. It’s super casual with a great vibe!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Decided to come here because it’s rated almost 5/5 stars. Went here on a Saturday night – let me start with the cleanliness of the restaurant is disgusting. Every single surface was sticky. Our waitress had no idea what was even on menu or any idea of what cocktails were available at the time. I ordered the special (ribeye and shrimp). The ribeye was all fat. Maybe got 2 bites of meat and the shrimp were obviously frozen and thawed out poorly.
On top of not knowing about the menu in any capacity, service was extremely slow. So slow that we chose to close out at the bar where we found our waitress taking shots with other patrons (we had been sitting there for 45 min waiting to close).

Visited Zeke’s a couple of weeks ago while staying at Acony Bell Tiny Home Village. We were seated promptly and had a beautiful view of the golf course. Our server, Lila, was tremendous! Our cocktails were delivered promptly and throughout the evening, we never lacked for attention or had to ask for anything. I had the the ribeye and my wife had the salmon. My steak was cooked a perfect med rare and my wife says the mashed potatoes are some of the best she has had anywhere. The manager, Cyndi, recommended and served a Cabernet Sauvignon with my ribeye that was perfect! I can’t say enough about Cyndi, Lila and the rest of the staff we met that evening at Zeke’s. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Etowah or Mills River. Great food, excellent service and beautiful location in Western NC. Can’t wait to visit again.

Have been going to Zeke’s since they opened, convenient location, enjoy the atmosphere, always enjoyed the food, went last Saturday not knowing the Chef had redone the whole menu. Took one look at it and refused to eat there. Got up and left went to Salty Landings which was great.
Apparently the Chef refuses to listen to staff and customers. There was really nothing appealing about the menu, nothing for vegetarians other than salad. Was so over priced. What happened to sandwiches, burgers, Pizza, the food you enjoy sitting having a beer, listening to a band over looking a golf course. Apparently you’re wanting to be more upscale and cater to the older community. Was totally disheartening to see the change. Definitely won’t be going back anytime soon. Will definitely be choosing Salty Landings over Zeke’s.

My girls eat lunch here often and I occasionally eat here when I join them. Food quality and quantity is fantastic. Service is spectacular. I seldom give this good of a review but this place deserves it.

Good bar food, great customer service. I had the ribeye one evening and it was yummy. Try the Tea Time cocktail, soo tasty. The grab n go food at the turn was just what it needed to be. They set up an outdoor grill on Sunday and everything with that was on point. Burger+fixins, slaw, handmade chips, and some kind of delicious cookie all for a fair price.
