Had our dinner here. The quantity was great. The service was excellent although the wait time was like 30 mins though the food was below average. The egg fried rice was good. Pad Thai was probably the worst I had in NZ. They add way too much sweet to everything. I couldn’t taste any flavor other than sweetness. The Tom Yum soup was terrible and just full of sweetness. Not even a pinch of Kaffir lime or galangal flavor.

Quiet little Thai and Indian spot on the island of Russell. Came here after seeing the good reviews of the place, and every one of them was spot on. Ordered a lamb biryani and it was perfectly authentic and flavoursome. You get the choice of either Thai or Indian cuisine, and both lived up to the authentic flavours from each culture.
Mohit had the friendliest service, attending to our family in a polite manner. Great spot to stop and grab food on your tour of Russell. Keep up the great work!

Decided upon Thai for our second night in Russell and Green’s was delicious. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and tasty, and our entrees of Pad Thai (hot) and veggie & tofu yellow curry (medium) were wonderful. Had leftovers for breakfast this morning and they were just as good!
Service was great and personable; the dining room clean and comfortable.

My partner and me were seated outside on a lovely warm night, we had the mango lassis which were delicious and followed by the battered onion crisps which were just as enjoyable. Our mains were even more incredible I ordered the peanut duck curry which was sensational and my partner just as much enjoyed the pad see ew. 5⭐️, highly reccomend!

Delicious Thai food and friendly staff. If you can call ahead to secure a table by the windows so that you can enjoy the sea views while you have your meal. The kids (and the adults) enjoyed seeing the robo-waiter! Haven’t elsewhere in NZ!

We had dinner here this evening. My husband had the Chicken Korma. I had Pad Thai. We also had garlic naan. The food was delicious and plentiful. The gentleman who served us was very pleasant and the service was excellent.

We absolutely loved GREEN’S THAI. The service is very, very friendly and attentive and the food excellent. You can choose between different degrees of sharpness: from MILD, MEDIUM and HOT to EXTRA HOT. As a special highlight, the door to the kitchen suddenly opens and a nice robot serves the food. Our absolute recommendation in Russel!

Ordered takeaway for dinner and the food, when it was eventually ready, was pretty good. I ordered online at 5:55pm and the automated timer said it would be ready in 30 mins so I got to the restaurant at 6:30pm to collect the order. I waited at the restaurant for 45 mins with no transparency or updates on when it would actually be ready. Yes it was busy, but just be honest with expected wait times
